Suggestions/comments: I think it's time to update the basic mounts we can obtain in the game. (Horses/Camels/Donkeys/Elephants) Colors, types, and textures of the mounts. You have so many plastic looking horses with visable neck seams, unrealistic/unappealing colors, and 'dead eyes' on the horses. Maybe even add a zebra skin for something different. There's also different zebra patterns. Regardless there are so many realistic colors and markings to choose from:

Lastly if you breed a horse and donkey you get this:

Elephants:

Bonus suggestion: Include sounds and new idle animations for horses and possibly donkeys. They make different noises depending on the situation. They can be quite vocal. So as your riding, idle, fighting there should be different sounds your horse makes matching the situation. For example: If they're being attacked when they're resting, they should rear up, kick, and make sounds of distress. If they're idle or being urged on (kicked to sprint) they should make a type of nickering noise. They use that sound A LOT as a form of communication. Grazing, being petted/brushed, being talked to, ect. They also tend to snort a lot (not like a pig!) Have the sounds able to toggle on/off for those who don't like that sort of thing. Make it to where ALL mounts can SWIM! Not sink to the bottom of the ocean like a statue until they drown. Horses, Donkeys, Camels, and even Elephants swim...

Now I'm not saying you should be able to ditch your boat and Moby Dick your way through the water on your mount. But maybe short distances, that way the water isn't automatically a death sentence. They should be able to cross streams or swim in the ocean close to the beach. Have it to where they can only go so far out. You shouldn't be thrown off of your mount as soon as they touch water then proceed to sink to the bottom like a statue and stand there until they drown or you call them out...

To summerize: Please update the basic mounts. Make donkeys and camels breedable. Add Mules (by breeding a horse and a donkey together) which would be faster than donkeys and be able to hold more than a horse. Enable an option to have your donkey, mule, camel, or baby elephant follow you on your 'current mount' to carry items. Give them a purpose. Allow donkeys, mules, camels, and baby elephants to pull wagons/carts as well. Maybe have it to where a wagon can carry one or two party members. One baby elephant in place of four horses per wagon. Two camels per wagon. Wagons that can be pulled via Elephant or Camel could be useful in the desert. Have a desert wagon that functions similarly to the forest wagon. With different skins (Pearl Costumes) desert themed. Maybe a Guild Elephant could pull a Wheelhouse (large carriage) to carry a large amount of guild members. Or maybe some type of siege equipment. Comparable to a Frigate but on land. You could sell various skins for those (pearl items) and craftable euipment that can be enhanced. Maybe add a new type of wagon that you can go inside of which can only be pulled by elephants (baby or guild). Home away from home. With different functions. Carrying party/group/guild members as well as hauling items/siege equipment or a traveling general goods merchant. Something similar to Awgust's Post . Add more horse, donkey, elephant, and camel types/colors. Fix the eyes on ALL mounts to have more detail. Fix the textures on ALL mounts (no more plastic horses with bad neck seams or decals, Ketchup & mustard or green, purple, and blue horses.)  The eyes and textures should be more like the Shai donkeys. Allow ALL mounts to swim short distances (elephants swim too.) If possible allow all horses to have two-seater. All horses are capable of carrying two people (if the horse is big enough obviously). Give them more idle animations. Add more sounds for horses (with the option to toggle the sounds on/off). Also can you please change the riding animations on the characters to look less stiff and robotic and more natural. Especially the two-seater animations. Also, can we please have more interactions with them? Like maybe brush them or something. It'd be nice if we could pet them more often too (not including the buff obviously). Same for the Dream/Mythic horses as well.

Also, can we please have tier 1-5 back? Really hope you don't remove the rest of the tiers so people use Dream/Mythical only. Variety is nice. Please stop removing content. Work to improve it instead. Mounts especially are a big part of this game (even with Magnus). It'd be nice if you expanded on the immersive aspect of the game. It is a mmoRPG afterall...

That suggestion might be nice but is really just a "nice to have" and thus it´s never gonna happen, they usually don´t touch content after its release, no matter how flawed it is. That sort of is their job philosophy. Wierd, yea. 

What PA sees....

All suggestions at the end of the day fall under "would be nice to have" catagory. Isn't that the point of suggestions?

1.  Nobody cares about T1-T8 horses, they only care about dreams and mythicals.

2.  Nobody uses donkeys, other than shai alts that don't want to buy a horse for their alt.

3.  Nobody uses camels anymore.

Had you suggested more skins for dreams or mythicals, I'd agree. 

Actually there are people who like regular horses too. More variety. The reason no one uses donkeys or camels are because you can't do anything with them. If you could breed them it'd give them more to do. Maybe have donkeys able to pull wagons too. Maybe have it to where your donkey can follow you on your 'main mount.' That way you can store things on it. Give it a purpose. I'm also not against more skins for the Dream Horses. But sometimes it's nice to just ride around on a normal looking mount.

But speaking of skins or effects for Dream/Mythical horses, I think a fiery pegasus or unicorn would be neat. I think someone also had a neat idea to change your dream/mythical horses colors (effect-wise) via gatherable objects. Similar to the Chocobo FF14. I can't remember who it was, but it was a neat concept. I'd love to have green flames. 

Camels used to have a purpose (along with the mini elephant) but PA killed them with the trading revamp.  Agree they should make more uses for these now defunct mounts (and that silly alpaca).

Yeah I wish they'd 'fix' that alpaca mount. Make it look more realistic without the cartoony animations. Either make the other mounts useful or just get rid of them. For the dream horses retexture them. They too have bad neck seams (I know you can hide them via costumes, but really). And small lifeless blank eyes. Give the Dream Horses the 'Shai Donkey Treatment' (Better eyes and texture). Maybe redo the flame effects of the Doom Horse along with the Mythical version. Redo the water effects of the Mythical Dine. More colors, patterns, and effects would not be remiss.

Yeah, I noticed that. Because of the effects. The only ones that don't clip as badly are the ones made specifically for them. But all should actually be made with that in mind, so you can use all of the other outfits on the Dream/Mythicals without worrying about clipping. Having very specific costumes is limiting. "We don't want to fix the clipping of the costumes on your hard earned Dream/Mythical, so here's a special made costume for each one instead." Pearl Abyss
