At no point in the game's history have more people been unified by one looming issue, than the prospect of the game we all love dying right under us.

How does a strike work without listing demands?

Honestly, I am not sure it's worth my time to tune into that.  Low expectations.

It was an interesting podcast to say the least, granted i am not buying that Jae has absolutely no control BUT i can see the board being a major part of influencing and bargaining for a media campaign this past spring to beginning of summer. Were they spent a massive sum of $$$ incentivising Content creators to playing BDO again.

This i am also sure was also for the New region they were very proud of as part of Korean Folklore.

Looking at whoever made that decision fueled a massive surge of players to the game and also profits.. <--- this is i am assuming what is the see i told you so (From elders on the board) to Jae'Hee that forced him to make all those changes to PVP.. costume so on.. To in a way protect there investments into the new players. (I believe this version of events is what happened more or less)

Now the next direction to come is one of 2 things..

Unlikely- Revert changes or at least rework them

Likely-Clamp down harder on PVP.. as a retaliation for all the lost players to make sure it never happens again. I.E. we are the reason as to why no one stayed.. Get ride of us then the new players will come back.

The above is the mentality of a Boomer that has no concept of what a video game is other than a investment (99% assured that none of the PA board members have EVER even touched a video game let alone played BDO). Boomers Tend to blame exactly the opposite of what the actual problem is usually tossing logic out the window.

This is what most likely is occuring With Jae'Hee Kim and dealing with the Elders out of respect that are on the board..

Example: Make a brand new starting point in the game Land of the morning light, then all the new people want to play, get trapped on the island until they finish the quest line 20+ hours long (Usually about 10-15 hours longer than a person trying a game for the 1st time..) Then blame the reason that new players are leaving the game is cuz they are getting merc'd on the new area by PVP'rs.. Not cuz the new area is Boring a F and literally puts a new person in a super complex game with almost ZERO combat for 20 hours.

Blame PVP not the issues in the game itself most of witch OP touched on .. No group content.. Piss Poor UI, No Instructions... super horrible Questing system that leaves you wondering WTF like some Bi-Polar clown that has the attention span of a fruit fly came up with the Idea that running back and forth 20 mins away to talk to one person makes complete sense.

Naaa i believe things are going to get much worse for BDO before they realize that "ooops we made a mistake comes out". If your waiting on the Ball in hopes that life will be good again hate to break your bubble but you better get the KY out they gonna go Roto Rooter and not stop till they hit the back of your teeth.

I'll be in my bed sleep waking up only to get the codes given in my guilds Discord channel. Slept through the last Ball and didn't regret the decision.

But there is only one strike that concerns PA. That is people walking away from the game, the lack of player retention. All recent changes were made to trim away the toxic pvp elements and make the game more appealing to new and casual mmo players.

That is their strategy and they wont significantly change that. Certainly not for a tiny fringe group of the playerbase that doesnt bring the numbers to support their desperate grandstanding. Honestly... just look at how few upvotes OP is getting. I dont even want to... Now, if these threads got thousands of upvotes you would have yourself a solid case.
