Okay,
So Arsha Tournament (ART) entry requirement is 100 Days of playtime for the character you want to compete with.
I've actively played Lahn as a main more than a year now, but I have 67 Days of total playtime...Grinded with Lahn, warred with Lahn, did everything except Lifeskill and AFK with Lahn.
So to actually be able to enter in this contest, you would have had to either play the class more than 2 years, or have had to AFK/Lifeskill on your main if you played the character for a year. Hell, Lifeskill players who AFK all the time and don't even PvP, qualify for this Tourney.
Kinda wack.
Although I think PvP experience really matter in understanding the full scope of any class, it doesn't scale with the playtime of the class.
I'm pretty sure anyone would agree that one can stay Bronze/Silver in League of Legends for many Competitive Seasons. Sure, the playtime may seem like "experience", but it actually doesn't mean one understands the game fully.
If you're going to weed out good players who understand the game mechanics, 1v1, largescale, and who hold competitive talent, you've just done the job with setting up this 100 day playtime requirement.
If you want to weed out players so there are less entry base, why not just have them submit node war scores and take something like that into consideration? Not really a good example, but surely it's better than 100 Day playtime req. At least it proves that the player knows how to pvp and understands how to play the class.
I understand BDO as a company don't really have a competitive background like Riot Games, but come on. This is common sense.
if you don't have 100 days on a character you don't need to be in the tournament.
either you don't have enough passion for the game or your character.

How can you say that? I know so many great players who have under 100 days on their main combat character, because they lifeskill & afk on alt characters.
I onlybarely make the limit with104 days on my main character, because I don't really AFK with her. But I feel really sympathetic for those folks who have better skills than me at their class, but they just don't have the raw hours.

should work like
62 100days
63 50days
64 25days
is it a bit unfair? yes, it is, but it's to weed out randos who don't know what they are doing at all.

This makes no sense.
With the playtime rule you only weed out players that dont lifeskill on main. I have a Ranger alt with 200 days on it and all I know to do is speed buff and shift+W to walk to my cooking utensil. All I do on it is cook and afk fish.
On the other hand I have a 77 day main that I duel and play NW on. Playtime doesn't mean anything in terms of how good some1 is in pvp
If they wanted good players to show up, the playtime rule should be smth like hours in Battle Arena/RBF/NW/Siege or just a longer qualitfication period where 1v1 k/d against unique players get counted. But that's too much work... so they rather use some completely irrelevant stat that doesn't take into account that lifeskill alts exist.
Even if my main had 100 days playtime, I would lose my spot to 64 lifeskillers that have 200 or more days
