The game has been crashing to desktop a lot for quite a while now. Other than crashing on loading screens and occasionally while entering a crowded city (which has been going on since at least mid 2018) the game started randomly crashing to desktop whenever. This started in a very specific patch and a lot of people immediately reported these issues. It has now been months and there has been several mentions about fixing "unexpected client shutdowns" mentioned in patch notes over the last few months but it has not gotten any better yet.

It is time that you actually prioritized this issue. You have all the info you need to solve it and I for one am getting a bit impatient.

I have encountered crashes every now and then; however, since the last patch (Dec 13), my game has crashed (terminated) to desktop more frequently, to as often as every 5 minutes since this Wednesday.  There's no changes or updates/upgrades to my hardware, software (except the last BDO patch) or firmware on my system.  What gives? 

Indeed its annoying and more for those who are doing afk fishing overnight, waking up to find game crashed 10 hours ago or more. Maybe its something wrong with a specific patch, for me crashed when changing character / server / idle / afk fishing / using Magnus / doing Lolm boss / putting game in tray / changing graphics settings. The issue for sure isn't on my side, this is one of my two games installed on pc and was working just fine until some recent updates.

I've been having crashes for a few days now, 3-4 times a day, at the moment the game has become unplayable for me, drivers and system updated, files checked, but it still kicks me out of the game after a few minutes

Never had any crashes and now game crashes to desktop daily since Wednesday update.  I thought that maybe all the pretty Christmas decorations were too taxing for my PC but the game crashed in the middle of nowhere with not even any players to render around. I did the 'scan' files thingy on launcher fingers crossed it fixed the issue.

Can't enter magnus, I get game crash 19/20 times or so. Also, changing character ends up with crashing the game. This was not the case before last patch for me.

Every now and then PA drops a patch that wrecks the stability of the game completely. You can have months of stability and then after maintenance you crash ingame or in tray.

Last week's patch seems to have been one of those. Crashing fairly often now after months of no issues.
But at this point I am used to those messups, after a patch or two it usually gets better, intentionally or not as far as PA is concerned :D

I can't get to the login page using the Launcher..  I have to do it by by changing BlackDesertPatcher32 to an exe and running it as Admin every time..  Any other way and Im stuck with the Black Spirit frozen on my desktop..  

STD three times since last update. two times when swaping chars(eu calp2 and season4) and one time a few min ago when just riding horse to stonetail from alti.(eu calp2)

Game crashed 3 times too and then I'm trying to patch the game client and the message I get is "Cannot download the patch client, restart the launcher with a stable internet connection or use the scanfiles function" my internet connection is great. ran speed test to check and all was fine cant log in the game now.
