we need more passive skills

Sorry I woke up today and chose violence, There's so many issues I have with this game at the moment, so without further ado lets get into it, Skill Points.

Ever since the skill point revamp it takes approx 1000-1008 skill points to max out ur main skills depending on ur spec. Then another additonal 1500 for the weight limit bringing ur total useable skill points to a little bit more than 2500. Now for some of us, we have easily cleared that margin by a few hundred and some a few thousand, which leaves us with the question, what am I gonna do with all these extra skill points?? Now I want to suggest adding more passive skills that are unlocked from 62+. Examples would be taking the [Unyielding Might] passive and adding 4 more levels to it, each giving 1% extra special attack damage. Not only that but adding offensive and defensive passives as well can diversify spec options for those who are DR/Evasion or hybrid builds for pvp specifically. Also of course will help in the PVE aspect too. Also certain passives again are level locked for example if u want to increase ur hidden AP stat bonus ull have to reach lvl 65 but u also get damage to all species +5, 66 -1% less damage recieved from monsters. And again these arent going to cost 8-10 skill points. at level 1 its going to cost 60 then 120, 180 and at the highest tier it will be 240. But also there will be alot of passive skills for players to choose from. Please see table below for more information:

[Steel Fortress] Damage Reduction: +10/20/30/40/50
[Elusive Elion] Evasion: +12/22/33/44/55
[Unyielding Might] Special Attack Damage: +1%/2/3/4/5
[Supreme Serenity] All accuracy: +1%/2/3/4/5
[Firm Stance] Ignore All Resitances: +1%/2/3/4/5
[Imminent Annihalation] Critical Hit Damage: +1%/2/3/4/5
[Swift Strikes] Attack/Cast Speed: +1%/2/3/4/5
[Relentless Avenger]  Increase all AP: +5/10/15/20 with damage to all species + 5
[Thick Skin]  Damage recieved from monsters: -1%/2/3/4/5

Since all classes are different, and have innate class passives and accuracy/ self buffs/ resistances and so forth this gives us the chance to like i said earlier 'diversify' our characters. I want to add more skills but lets leave it at this for now. I forgot to mention this earlier but the weight limit tree should NOT have a cap and increase ur LT by a bit more.

What I'd like to see is a selectable set of passive skills. Think of the Node War DP skills, or the awakening Core skills. You choose one to have active and the rest are unused. 

Many classes today are advantaged or disadvantaged due to their passives. Some classes just have great accuracy - or not. Some classes just have great evasion - or not. Or other things. 

Somehow just give us a selection of passives and let us choose what we want to invest into.

Definitely remove the level requirement for skills from this list. One of the advantages of BDO is that you can change characters quite easily, but with good passive skills at higher levels, no one will change characters.
In addition, hitting lvl 66 is not that fast, by introducing skils only from this level you will scare a lot of people away from the game. 62lvl should be the last on which new skils come. Another problem with this is the different exp from different locations. Not everyone is comfortable with farming several months of one spot (Gyfin underground) to get this level.

Required skill points are another problem. With the recent reduction in required points, you can finally play different characters and test them. By adding new skils that require a lot of points, we're back to the point where in order to play another character you have to farm skill points for it for days.

And although the very concept of choosing passive skils is ok, I think that such a solution in the current state of the game will completely destroy the character balance. To make it work they would have to rework the current passives of all classes, remove such things as the default accuracy rate on skills. Otherwise, such passives would only boost the strongest characters and nerf the weaker ones.

Personally, if such a solution entered the game I think I would end my adventure with BDO. I have one character with 66 lvl, but every 2-3 months I tag another one to play something different, to try something new. If I were to play only this one character from now on, I'd rather look for another game.

Ya, I'd upvote this a hundred times if I could. I'd got like 400 extra skill point on my striker and woosa since I use them for grinding the most. Feels like such a waste. Having all of these options available would be awesome to either go ALL out for one ability type or to spread it out across several if desired.

Yeah I do agree with you, about the level requirement 66 is a far reach for sure, I'll definitely take out that part, thank you for your insight and input mate <3 However personally I do disagree with you only on ur last paragraph, humans in general are against change and dislike it but i geniunely think if this would be implemented with minor reworks to default passives and rates like u suggested, it would be a win win situation for everyone

Agreed! Feels like such a slap in the face when my skill point bar completes like yeah cool I got more points to stockpile ahah

50 dr vs 24 ap

11% dodge rate vs 5% hitrate

with every other choice being basically useless because the values are so low, this sounds absolutely terrible.

i have already seen feedback for removing all class passives and giving us three choices between all of them and it's a really good idea, but your concept is inferior in every point. no one cares about having 710 skill points left over, if that's a concern they can add more levels to weight training.
