I'll start by saying that it's bad, very bad. After all, 90% of what was presented are "cosmetic" changes that fit into a typical weekly update and issues that players have been discussing for years. For years!!!

Magnus.

The problem with the lack of fast travel has always existed in BDO. And we, as players, really don't care about any immersion. Riding a horse from one end of the map to the other is a colossal waste of time. Minor changes to the Magnus system will not change anything. The distances will still be huge. There is also a second, much more serious problem: Magnus is horrendously expensive!!! Fast travel should cost a maximum of 100k, not 20m.

Black Shrine.

Direct access to these bosses is a big plus. What about Rifts? Half of them (the furthest ones) have been removed but, for example, Ahib Griffon is still the middle of Kamasylvia!!

Atoraxxion direct access is a big plus but Atoraxxion = still dead content!!!

Desert and ocean navigation.

Problem is still not solved because average player still has absolutely zero chance of getting compass. All treasures should have pity pieces. Map and compass too. 0.002% drop chance is a farce. You can play for years without getting a compass!!!

Margoria trade markers. 

Very good change, but sailing has a lot of still unresolved problems that players have mentioned many times.

Designated entrances for Aakman and Hystria. 

Very good change but what about Sycraia, Kratuga and Erethea? Difficulties associated with entering these zones make them unpopular.

Unification.

Unification has not been very well thought out and will completely disrupt the market (which doesn't exist anyway, but let's just say it does exist).

Black stones - nothing will change here.

Ship black stones - they cannot be traded, so nothing should happen, the problem is that we have higher and lower classes of these black stones and it has not been determined what the enchant will look like with only one type of black stones, there cannot be a situation in which this enchant will become even more difficult.

100% black stones - nothing will change here.

Shards - here we have the first problem: their drop chance is different, they also have different prices, often with a large difference between them.

Season black stones - what would this unification consist in? We have 3 completely different types of black stones here. Each has a different drop chance and a completely different function. How will one and the same black stones be used for both enchantment and 100% guaranteed enchantment? In my opinion, this will result in a huge nerf and make it more difficult to enchant Tuvali to higher levels.

Fruits.

A very good change, but unfortunately it will affect farming because there are large disparities in their use between fruits. Some fruits are more desirable, others less so. On the other hand, farming is dead anyway, so it's a small loss.

Trace.

The situation with them is more complicated. The disproportions in the use of trace between them are quite large. Additionally, such a change affects the entire system of nodes from which they are obtained and the value of green armor and weapons from which they are also extracted, and at the same time the drop value from the middle end zones where they are dropped.

Blood.

Very good change, but what about e.g. meat?

Seeds.
I don't understand this change. We use blue seeds because we want to get blue harvests. Changing seeds to one type with a random harvest is a total misconception. This disrupts the game's economy and completely destroys the point of farming. The quality of the harvest (white, green, blue) has a huge impact on cooking and the amount of ingredients used in it.

Seed stackable.

Very good change.

Elixirs.

I have no opinion on this matter

Life skills crystal merged.
Very good change.

Event seals UI.

Very good change. Any change that relieves our inventory is a plus.

Removing unnecessary/obsolete life tools.

Good change.

Family life skills lvl.

An extremely good change that players have been talking about for years. But what about energy? It should also be family or there should be an option to transfer energy between characters.

Family life tools.

Very good change. However, there is still no option to create sets to change vs mobs items to life skill items with one click.

An additional window to combine items.

Good change.

„Memory scrolls” items stackable.

Very good change.

Monsters zones rebalance.
Nothing concrete can be said from the words that were said at the ball, and such changes have already been introduced into the game many times and have not changed anything. Why? Because in BDO there is practically no drop, only trash. And until this changes, only those zones where you can get trash with the highest value as quickly as possible will be profitable.

Also: most players are unable to play in the top zones because they do not have the appropriate items.

Removing scrolls bosses.

Why? What in exchange? These bosses are old but still necessary.

What about knowledge? What about titles? For example, title for obtaining dim armor can only be obtained by dropping dim armor from dim boss from scroll.

Black Shrine Calamity 8, 9 and 10.

Black Shrine is garbage and dead content for me. Why? Because these bosses are simply too difficult and are not balanced for all classes. Some classes can beat these bosses very easily, others find them very difficult, and others find them completely unbeatable.

These bosses need to be made easier, potions should be allowed, time limit should be removed and hit kills attacks should be removed also.

New difficulty levels make no sense because they require extremely high AP. Who has them? Almost no one. So why create content for the 1% of gamers?

Altar of Blood.

Altar of Blood was dead because it was too difficult and offered no worthwhile rewards. This new one will be exactly the same, judging by what was said about the new version at the ball.

All that was needed was to make it easier, add better rewards and enable solo play, but no, PA "knows better".

Removing general trade.

Bad, very bad. Start listening to players. There is a forum thread about trading and it has some brilliant suggestions from players. You've already changed the trading system once and it's even worse than it was.

Presets.

This is good, but again there will be too few of them for the average player, all this to insert more slots in the form of p2w.

Crones enchant +1.

It's a joke? It doesn't change anything. How much does FS+1 give when trying to black star on a pen? 0.02%? Enchant end game items without crons is impossible with such a low chance. On the other hand, enchantment with crons is completely unprofitable because several failures cost us more than the value of the item we are enchanting.

The entire enchantment system needs to be reorganized. System must be progressive and item's level drop or disappearance removed from the game.

Guild missions.

Players have told you this time and time again: players only want one thing: the option to complete solo missions. Each guild member can complete e.g. 5 missions a day. He chooses them, starts them, executes them and finishes them himself. Additionally, the "quality" of missions should not depend on the number of people in the guild. Even a 5-person guild should be able to perform difficult and very difficult tasks. That's all.

Daily wage.

Daily wage should be removed from the game. Most guild leaders distribute money unfairly and it does not go to those who really earned it for the guild.

Quest UI.

Good change. Let's be honest: some quests are so complicated that the player doesn't know/understand what to do and has to seek additional help such as bdocodex.

Pen accessories quest (second quest).

It doesn't change anything for the player. First of all, it is a soft cap accessory, which is currently of little use. Secondly, this quest makes no sense. Why? Most of the price of this accessory is the purchase of Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst, so what is the reward that we simply buy? Just add a Jetina store where we can buy such an accessory for 15-20b. For this reason I didn't even create the first one and I won’t create the second one. The second reason is that why do I need these accessories? We have Deboreka, so we should be able to get Deboreka, not some obsolete accessory.

Free tet black stars.

Ok and what next? Then there is a wall that 99% of players have not broken and will never break without changes to the enchant system.

Trading carracks.

Very good change. I believe that players should be able to trade absolutely everything that is available in the game. When will it happen?

New region for guilds.

Very, very bad. Stop forcing players to play together. BDO has so many players precisely because 99% of its valuable content can be completed solo!!!

Fallen God weapons.

Very, very bad because they are blocked by guild raids. I will repeat: stop forcing players to play together. Such raids will lead to conflict situations in the guild where some players will be omitted from playing together.

New class Scholar.

I already have 25 classes that I don't play, I will have 26, and what for? You still haven't managed to balance the classes and you probably never will.

Final conclusions.

We have a lot of good and very good changes. Unfortunately, there are still many problems that have not been solved for years. The new content is/will be bad and will create a lot of new problems.
This ball was to decide whether I would continue to play for BDO. My answer is: unfortunately no. Why? No changes have been announced that will increase playability or the chance of obtaining true end game items. It will be even more difficult. PA still has no intention of removing unwanted and toxic open pvp, has no intention of adding a progressive enchantment system and there will still be no free/cheap fast travel system to any node.
For me, this game has no future. PA mentally still lives in 2005, believing that people enjoy wasting hundreds of hours on pointless grinding. Times have changed. Today, half a year is more or less the maximum amount of time a player will spend playing to get everything. At BDO, even after 4-7 years you can have nothing!

I don't like new weapons idea or at least if they keep pen bs design it will be okay. But looking at our new released items they will fuck up design only to get more cash from outfits.

Also they will be higher grade from bs and as far as I know we can make it from c20 boss weapon as well? So what's the point of pen bs if you can get c20 for half price?

Because you have tet bs and tet godr right away and you have more AP (godr) and ap monster than boss pen with CRx.

Also 3x CR 20 is not that easy. The amount of caphrases needed for this is colossal. After 4 years, all the caphrases and dust I had were enough for 4 pieces of CR10 armor.

I have 3x tet bs and 3x tet godr. I will sell all 6 and exchange them for boss pen from Jetina and go to cr10, and then for fallen god.

The Fallen God weapons and their implementation is an absolutely terrible idea honestly. I was finally getting close to gear cap and mostly just needed to get PEN accessories but this kinda makes me feel even less motivated to play more. It shouldn't be required to group for gear and I don't think it's healthy for the game or for the people playing it to have weapons that are 0.10% chance to max out on a high failstack.

For the most part I agree with your post. Very disappointing but sadly not unexpected. Quality of Life changes that should have been done a long time ago. New zone (Land of Morning Light pt 2). Two new classes, one of which of course is HUMAN FEMALE. The other being a male do wielder with sword and...pipe. I still can't wrap my head around that one, sorry. The hammer class should have been a male dwarf. Something players have wanted for YEARS. Been wanting more fantasy races, get two more humans instead. 

They say they're sorry for ignoring the playerbase and they will do their upmost to listen to the community in the future. Translation:

"We have been ignoring and neglecting the community and will continue to do so. After seven years of ignoring you, we've gotten quite good at it. Still, we feel compelled to 'apologize' in hopes you'll believe us and continue to spend money. So we hope you'll accept this small token, and we do mean small, quality of life changes players have been asking for. To show that we are listening now. Sort of. But not really. Now quickly let us distract you with two new classes for you to level, gear and buy outfits for." -Pearl Abyss

They'd be that used car salesman that would try to talk you into buying a car with no engine...much like the current state of their game...

Or the cheating husband trying to distract his wife with a diamond (or so she thinks) necklace to hide the fact that he's totally banging the maid while she's taking care of the kids.

PS:  Failstacks are a fake phony Meme.  Converting real world money into them is stupider than buying NFTs and there should be class action Fraud suits until PA is FORCED to replace F.S. with actual Streak Breaker code (like Baldurs uses)
