Most people currently playing have already picked it up anyway, so they probably don't care.
Secondly, the goal of the game is to get a T10 horse, but it is extremely difficult, so the fact that they give you a T9 horse doesn't change anything because you still have to get a second T9 horse (I tried = 24 failures so I simply bought 2 more (but what's the point of a game where you buy items such as T9 horses?)) and then a T10, for which materials are limited and absurdly expensive. I don't want to count it now, but one tap for T10 costs at least 500m.

It is not a goal of every player to get a mythical horse. I could not care less about horses in this game. I am sure I am not alone in this.

In every mmo game, one of the goals of the game is to have the best mount. You don't care (and neither do I) because I'll repeat: getting a T10 horse is absurd.

A long time ago I bought T8 with almost all the skills, I won Dine from the box and I was very happy because that's what I wanted. I never even considered trying to get T9, let alone T10. I have 9 gold T8 and a lot of mats from events so I can try for free. But that's where it ends because trying to get T10 is too expensive and it's just a waste of time and money (in the game).

99% of the things in BDO are too hard, if we listen to you.

Not a message for you, I'm simply warning people who may not know you yet.

It's sad that all thy can do anymore is remove things from this game in the name of "simplicity" and QoL.  And the things that are added are almost always against the wishes of most of us that offer feedback.  All they do is destroy or ruin what already exists in this game.

The only good thing I could see in the list of proposed changes is stackable seeds.

Variety is the spice of life.  The more you remove from anything, the less spectacular it becomes.

I'm tired of what they've been doing to this game, especially robbing chracters of their identities and making everything family-wide.

I'll start by saying that it's bad, very bad. After all, 90% of what was presented are "cosmetic" changes that fit into a typical weekly update and issues that players have been discussing for years. For years!!!

Magnus.

The problem with the lack of fast travel has always existed in BDO. And we, as players, really don't care about any immersion. Riding a horse from one end of the map to the other is a colossal waste of time. Minor changes to the Magnus system will not change anything. The distances will still be huge. There is also a second, much more serious problem: Magnus is horrendously expensive!!! Fast travel should cost a maximum of 100k, not 20m.

You could complain about the travel times before magnus and before t10 was so easily accessible but now i don't think travel times are much of a valid complaint except maybe to a complete beginner. And while i do think magnus shoudl be free, i dont think it's  "horrendously" expensive either. Pretty much any half decent grind zone you can make 20 mils in mere minutes and it's only Loml that is that expensive.

What SHOULD be improved is the map. It's always been nearly useless. The map should have a cooldown of one hour, the archeologist one anyway, you can leave the traveler's at 6 maybe so peopel still have an incentive to get the arch maop, and where you can teleport should be based on distance, not regions. For example, if im coming from mediah sea i have to practically be right against illya island to warp to it because it's in the balenos region. I shoud be able to warp to anywhere that is around 2.5 or maybe even 3km away regardles of what region it's in.

Desert and ocean navigation.

Problem is still not solved because average player still has absolutely zero chance of getting compass. All treasures should have pity pieces. Map and compass too. 0.002% drop chance is a farce. You can play for years without getting a compass!!!

I got my first map (i have four) in forty hours total. The compass took 80. First HP pot (i made 8 total) before pity pieces took me about 40 hours too. Only MP (again before pity) took me somethiing over 100 hours. People can say i'm rng carried, i don't buy it, not on that many items.  When people say they've been grinding for elten piece or whatever for 500 hours i have to ask, do you do it on arsha? Do you have the maximum, or close to anyway, drop rate boost buffs? do you have the drop rate chance lightstones which didnt even exist back when i got all the above stuff (up to 30%, though if youre doing hystria you should use 15% because the ap penalty of the 30% set will affect the speed at which you kill mobs too much there). Of course i wouldnt imagine ANYONE would attempt it without a LS. And lastly also, are you doing the best rot for the treasure you're trying to get?

If you do the maths, the map and compass have absolutely reasonable grind times if you're doing the grind in the absolute optimal conditions with all the buffs possible.

I haven't tried for the telescope yet and jury is still up on wehther the Ebenruth nol has a reasonable grind time. I'm 18 chests deep on this one. It sure is the worst treasure grind i'Ve done so far though. As for the merchant ring well, it's meant to be the worst ordeal of your bdo life. Not sure i'll ever attempt this one.

They should just put the compass and map on market like hiw they did with the potions....I farmed my MP pot (with the pities) in like 1month or so and I don't want to spend 1000h to dar for compass and another 1000h for map and especially that merchant ring which would probably drop for me in 10 years with 1h grinding in some spots and trading for that piece. Ebenruth nol w/o the 2mil cc is even rarer than the ring because you have rng when you want to clean your moss map and then there's the chest rng.....

Considering that 99% of players who have been playing for 3-7 years have achieved nothing, I am right.

I got my first map (i have four) in forty hours total.

I lvl up from 62 to 63 always with a minimum of 250% drop rate and I got 1 part of the map.

The compass took 80.

I only have one part from Aakman and it took me about 60-70 hours to get it (always with a minimum 250% drop rate).

I really want to point out that this statement is completely wrong. As an MMO player, immersion is the most important thing to me. The reason why I choose Black Desert Online as my MMO home is because I think Black Desert is more immsersive than most other MMOs. In fact, I choose Black Desert because there was no fast travel when I first started. It was never about the loot or getting stuff done, it was about experiencing a detailed fantasy world.

MMORPGs like Black Deserts should be a world first, games second.
