This isn't the argument people should consider at all when it comes to server location.  I understand that australian players were sent here.  That's fine.  It's a foolish red herring argument (regardless of whether it's an oce player saying they were sent here or an NA player saying oce people do not belong).  This is purely about doing the most good for the most people, the numbers don't lie. It has been known since the game came out that the pvp experience on NA has been one of the worst out of all regions are far as latency goes.

I'd be happy if OCE players had a channel dedicated to them to play on with localized servers that are connected to the NA servers, but as far as anything PvP-related goes, we need centralized servers.  Anyone that is advocating to the servers to stay in place is arguing in bad faith and convienently refuses to acknowledge that doing so would put the needs of the few above the needs of the many. 

We're talking at the very least a 10:1 ratio of east coast to oce players, and it's in all likelihood even more severe than that since many oce players don't bother playing on an NA server-only game anyways, and they certainly aren't doing pvp en-masse because they know that their country is in the figurative corner of the world which leads to a bad experience. 

It's getting tiring being told that the majority of the population should suffer because it will affect a few people, without even an attempt at compromise like split channels.  I haven't seen a single oce player ask for that.  Only for the servers to stay in place and keep the majority of players in a scuffed gameplay experience.

I have not been advocating anything about the server location. I am only refuting the statements made by others saying Oceamia players SHOULD NOT EVEN BE PLAYING ON THE NA SERVERS. Please go back and read my posts and show me where I said they should not be moved! The only comment I made about that is that if Pearl Abyss do move them further east I would stop playing. They are the devs and what they decide is up to them.

However are you not being a bit hypocritical saying that Oceania players cannot have any input into game changes but you are allowed. We all paid for the game and we all play the game.

Please just stop with the diversionary argument.  I don't care about the people saying you don't belong here.  I don't care about you saying that you do.  I'm not saying you don't deserve input.  I'm not even talking to you specifically.  This "whether OCE players belong on NA" shit has nothing to do with why the servers should be centralized for pvp.  I'm saying that the the input other OCE players is giving is shit because they all keep pretending like they matter more than a much larger community.  None of them are willing to acknowledge that moving the servers is better for the vast majority of this server to have fair ping.  None of them are even willing to seek compromise.  Someone even downvoted my last post recommending a local channel for oce players still connected to the NA server; I swear..

Be happy to get your centralized servers, but you have no right to blame players for the mistake of publishers. PA is simply telling OCE players to accept a worse gaming experience, no planned action to alleviate the issue.

And in addition, we have some snowflakes blaming OCE players. Really, no shame at all. PA decided to degrade their experience, given your answer, you'd probably get furious if you were in the same situation. But here, you're trying to be smart? Compromise? Yeah sure. As if you'd do it. XD

Let them complain, in term of commercial relation, it is clearly a lack of respect. "Your ping is awful? Well, it will become even worse. Get used to it. New servers for your location? No.".
