Seriously, now I understand that the Callephon Ball announcement on introducing "Fallen God" style enhancement to PEN BS, is PA's admission that they have a power creep problem in BDO.  This is dreadful for BDO because other MMO's routinely introduce new gear as a result of harder, new monsters to compensate for the difficulty of the game, making older gear pointless and obsolete.  

Furthermore, considering main, awakening and off hand would each have five ranks to enhance that would be fifteen total ranks to progress.  That could easily amount to hundreds if not trillions of silver for enhancement materials and thousands if not tens of thousands of hours to grind, trade, sell, not to mention enduring tens of dozens or hundreds of fails.

PA, don't do this to PEN Blackstar weapons, or BDO will be no different from the other dying MMO's dealing with the game-killing "power creep" problem.

So true but, but, but look at all those costumes sales for melting. Much profit to be made by PA.

If they don't allow me to use a c10- or c20 Kzarka, I will likely leave.  They promised that C20 Kzarka mainhands would be equivalent to Pen BS in pvp, so I went the caphras route.  If they renege on this, I may be done.  I hate enhancing, so I chose the other route.

You supported to destroy the PvP system and now you think to leave BDO because of the enhancement system? ROFL!

I am sorry that you cannot use the one sided deccs anymore to deal with chat tormentors.  I think that their behavior was unacceptable, however, I don't think that PA ever meant for one sided deccs to be used to settle personal scores.  I think that dealing with people messing up rotations was a legitimate us of one sided deccs, however.  I never supported destroying pvp.  I said at the time that I wanted less drastic changes to pvp.  Please stop misrepresenting what I said.  Thank you.

If PA wants to keep players playing they should introduce a time based advancement system for PEN BS, for example 500 hours of play with you character wielding PEN BS could unlock the first rank or greatly add to your odds if the FS system is used.

Basically, PA should ask themselves, whats the breaking point that players will quit due to exessive failed enhancement attemps,or how many hours do they think a player would be willing to commit to enhancing?  PA should realistically consider a good balace of time and silver worth if they want to pursue FallenGod style enhancement for PEN BS.  If they came out something unrealistic like 1T Silver per rank and 10,000 hours as an average, the player base would scoff and beginners would walk away.

PA really is putting BDO at risk if they do not consider the pain threshold players are willing to tolerate with enhancement, not to mention its basically a gambling system that can get people addicted to spend real money on this game.

Yeah Fallen God weapon reveal is really making me consider quitting for good. I'm tired of having my time disrespected. There's so many things to do in life and being told to basically regrind my weapons to maximum all over again with even worse probability (it's 1000 clicks at 4k crons per click to even get 50% chance to go PEN Fallen God on a 300 stack) is just something they can miss me with. PA has been making absolutely terrible decisions lately. That's not even mentioning that they're forcing us to group up to even get them to Fallen God in the first place.

For me, it depends on the steepness of the new progression.  If it's no worse than the armor, I will be ok but unhappy 

I feel a little mixed. I believe that it'd be bad to feel like I am "finished" with my gear, and so having more things to grind for is a good thing. I've had the same weapons equipped for a long time now. it wouldnt be bad to get something new in these slots now.   

But i hope PA handles it delicately -- people with C20 boss weapons shouldnt feel like they've went to a dead-end. And on the other hand, V BS are worth a lot more than c20 boss even if caphras were max price. I will withhold opinion until I hear more specifics. 

Yeah.  I think since C20 and Blackstar are equivalent, C20 is fair vs. C10.  If the money is the issue, throw in another 30B charge on kzarka.  Getting C20 Kzarka isn't trivial either.
