Why don't you look at the "content" they've actually delivered which was supposed to justify this massive new gear treadmill, versus how much more content we used to get back in the game's earliest treadmill extensions.  There's basically nothing to f**#ing DO at eternal winter and Ulukita (pictures included).  No effort goes into the zones anymore, no secrets, no DEPTH since valencia basically.

We know where all the effort is actually going.  It's the same scumbaggery Creative Assembly just made the front pages for recently where they're blatantly squeezing their LOYAL patrons with garbage micro-DLC while putting all the actual resources towards an unproven product in a totally different format (and for all we know, pandered exclusively at Console players, not even at classical PC a-rpg'ers)

if you guys dislike BDO so much why stick around and try to ruin other player experience? just gtfo and play another game. This garbage you blurr out is just toxic behaviour.

It's more that we're resisting what PA is doing to the game that we have spent so much time playing.  For me and other the game was what what we wanted to play, but it is being turned into something we don't like.  That will generate some resistance.  And for some of us, everything they're changing makes our experience worse.  That will induce bitterness.  Some of us dream that they actually develope the lore in meaningful ways, as they were doing through Valencia.  They're not anymore.  They're just making new grindzones, for more grinding.

Maybe some of us see all the potential this game has, and we ask why all PA settles for is an uninspired, copy-paste cash-grab game, when they could build something truly magnificent?  Something greater than all the other MMOs?

Sure, they don't have to, but it would be nice if they did.

This is such a weird complaint to me. It's only natural course of a game to introduce new goals to strive for. Hasn't it been obvious for a while that  this would come? IDK why you would want the same old weapon to stay best forever, blackstar has been bis for like 3 years now. Just like new armors have been introduced over the last 2-3 years, just like deboreka accessories etc, it's only natural course of the game to have new things. I for one am excited to have a new item to chase, gear progression is what I play this game for, just like other mmorpgs before it.  It feels like you want to have THE best weapon but no longer play the game? idk, but I'm sure you will still be able to do whatever you're currently doing with your blackstars and new weapons will only be necessary for some harder pve content in the future.

KEKW xD u seem to enjoy having only one gear option.. i don´t know if you see it, but the company is trolling it´s players totally.. have u even played other mmos?

BDO is not a mmo, bdo has no variety to offer in content as well as in gear/weapon options.. we have only one terrible gear set to play with, anything else is useless once reached the meta.. were is the point afterwards even playing the game? grinding for silver? and than what? can´t buy anything with that bankaccount of silvervalue.. the game is boring and monotoneous..

it starts with the huge amount of female-gender-locked chars, non existent different species as char options, goes on with endless hours of grind in boring grindspots, and ends with one gear set, weres nothing to play afterwards..

there is literally 1% mmo in this game, and that is the chat-function, and not even that works properly.. forget the terrible party spots and the 1 hour dungeon per week.. its nothing..

if BDO keeps going that way, it will die next 2-3 years.. 

Like a gaming company needs 2-3 years to develop one set of gear? That is literally a joke.. others developed in that time 10 different classes, 5 gear sets, 3 new regions.. and all fully functional.. i might exaggerate a little bit with that, but that PA only manages to develop one gear set and that it´s bound to having a new region nowadays is pretty lame and backwardsdevelopment.. 

Also, it's a bit daunting when an impossible to reach goal post gets replaced by an even more impossible goal.  Sure, some people get lucky, but for most, it required countless hours.  That's time that cannot be gotten back, and what is the reward?  Gear that will soon be rendered meaningless by the next replacement.  If all we're striving for is the next gear-set to grind at the newest grind-zone, that doesn't seem to be an appealing goal to spend so much time, or money for.  Sure, we could make up goals for ourselves, but it would be more meaningful if the game itself gave meaningful goals.  

If it's not being able to delve into a rich, tantalizing story, why not PvP that actually builds comradery among all players, solo, small guilds and large guilds?  Something for everybody?  How about meaningful PvE among players?  Wars of players against monsters where people acutally help one another out.  Solo grinding gets old, and very soon becomes a bleak goal to strive after.

Yes, people can create a purpose for this game.  But it means so much more if the game itself generated a true and lasting purpose, that not only gives us entertainment, but enriches us for the experience.  I felt that playing SWTOR, another MMO.  Why not this one, which has just as much, or even more potential?  Sure, Baldur's Gate 3 is no MMO, but its designers had real passion.

Would be nice if these devs had some inspiration again.

I don't see a problem. PA returns my money for all pearls I purchased and pays me compensation for over 20,000 hours spent in the game and we break up.
Until then, I have the right to express my opinion and criticize.

And another thing.  Not only the proposed Fallen God style PEN BS weapon advancement is evidence of an MMO power creep, it will further divide the "haves" and the "have nots," by rewarding the "lucky" more than those who do put hundreds or even thousands of hours in this game.

I support PvE weps, as I said, but I think they should make you worse at pvp.

I'd also like to see an arsha where people could get gains from each other. There are more routes to go than just boosting gear. They could make mobs harder, not harder to kill... as in make them hit harder, etc. It amazes me that I watch vids of people and they can stand in the middle of mobs and get tagged and it's not a huge deal even if they get chunked a few times, they just zip out and live.

I like the idea of caphras. I dunno why they would ever introduce a weapon that was better than caphras enhanced weps. People will whale the new items, but there is just so much other content they could add. I was thinking of it the other night. I won't go into it, but... BDO has always been a solo-ish "look what I got" game, so this isn't really surprising.
