Karma system is fine. its only the lack of resurrection cooldown and Force to go town that the system lack. Which are things outside the karma system.

Ideally, we even go back to 2016 with the loss of exp.

I have been playing BDO since release. I like the game.
BDO has these flaws.
But the ones you yell at aren't.

Ultima Online was bleeding players fast and about to die before they introduced Trammel - effectively PvE version of the world. After that, the subscription numbers surged and almost doubled within a year. Most western players prefer to do PvP when they feel like it, or not at all.

Of course the problem with both UO and hypothetical BDO PvE servers is that both games have/had shitty PvE content. UO's solution was to try to copy the gear grind of other games and it failed miserably.

So yeah, while the fact remains that PvE players outnumber the PvP player by a legion, some games are just not suited for PvE -only gameplay. BDO is (currently) one of them.

Time will tell if PA is willing to put in the effort to bring meaningful PvE content into the game.

That's right! This is a PVP game.  Lets remove the timer on ALL loot timers so anyone can loot your kills instantly.  Remember we want a "competitive game environment".

Same here, I like the fact Elvia Weapons can be "stolen", add a fun dimension to grinding these spots when others are around.

But what Recon is saying is that when tagged, you can't flag / properly defend a Elvia Weapon if it spawns in the rotation you're in.  And that part sucks.  When I'm on my Sage, I always make sure to get Elvia wepons ASAP, even if I currently have one equipped.  Too risky to leave it for some random person horsing through to take.

Your probably also the type of player who would never go into BA on a trial character to play against others on trial character, and forget about t1 node wars (yea yea they dont pay the guild money, but they are stat capped) 

Sounds to me like your "Git gud" statement is "Get Gear" because lets face it thats what it really comes down to in the end game pvp.

That bieng said, thievery in a game is just bad. Its bad IRL, its bad in a game as well. If you steal other peoples hard work (taking the npc someone else spawned) your just a trash human. 

I hope you guys understand that the tag charecter restrictions are to avoid griefing from OP tagged characters or characters in general with rental gear. You want to use a tag char or rental items? you can't pvp, that sounds like a good trade off.

If you want to grind in a high end area, but want to pvp for that spot, get your own gear to do so. That includes tag chars.

Nobody asked for that rental gear system , to begin with. The early game progression is already very easy. A new player doesn't need to get free TET accessories..

For Hadum weapons , i agree that the current system isn't good. You can't switch weapon whenever you want , you need to stand still for at least 5 sec without using any skills or you will get an error message when you try to equip the weapon.

It's also not optimal for pvp because you loose gemslots and AP. And if someone ganks you ( on Arsha for exemple ) while you have an hadum weapon , you have a disadvantage because of the reasons above ( missing 2 gems and AP , can't instant swap to Dande ).

A simple fix is to get rid of the weapon system. Make the flame that appears to give a monster damage buff when you talk to it, exactly like the event NPCs ( Mysterious Knight , Sage's Cube , etc ) 

I understand completely.  Not talking about rentable gear BTW, brought up Recon's point of tagged chars. not being able to flag for PVP.  I am fine with this.  If I rented gear, I'd be lowering my gear score.  I will swap to my main if I need to PVP.
