I would like to see a solution, where we get an aggregated score of all of our characters, too. I "only" have ~1080 Life Fame.

I too am very happy about merging of Lifeskill levels, but I do hope that our time wasn't wasted leveling our alts levels. I have spent plenty of time leveling my alts, do the right thing PA.

I would rather not lose my life fame. It's not 10k but I have worked for it and I want to keep it. Please PA let us keep our progress both levels and life fame.

I'm hoping it's just a total accumulation between all characters and that's the new level. Honestly, I'll be very happy with the change as it will completely fix one of my biggest gripes: sailing and bartering have to choose between safety from pirates (use a character under level 50, but forfeit cannon use) or sailies independence (can be preyed upon, but can use cannons). No other lifeskill has to make this choice despite other lifeskills existing that are just killing mobs.

iirc the transfer coupons are actually additive. meaning it adds from character a to character b during the transfer. if thats the case, they may actually send out more of those lifeskill transfer coupons allowing us to do the adding before the change happens. we'd dump all the exp on one character so after patch we'd have the best scenario. Only downside is for players who come back to the game after a long while and see the change, but honestly what dev cares about them?

That appears to be unnecesarily complicated solution. Since life XP is probably stored in database as a single number per character and lifeskill, merging life xp across characters additively within a family should be a simple calculation.

Indeed, it is going to take some time, considering the number of accounts and characters. But I cannot imagine any serious technical barrier that would require the active player input that you describe. Designing this type of change should be a very straighforward process.
