BDO causing pc to shut off display and turn fans on full speed?

Hello I recently came back to bdo from a couple month break and I notice when I play now my pc will lose display to the monitors but it is still on, the fans turn full speed and the lights are still on. I am only able to turn it off by holding power button for a really long time. I didn't have this problem before and I tried verifying files, changing ssd it's on, reinstalling, updating drivers. Is this an issue for anyone else?

This means your graphics card has switched itself off.
This can be caused by a view things:
- problem with the drivers. But since you already updated them, it's most likely not the problem.
- broken cable or a loose contact. So, check the cable and the connection. Maybe also change it or use a different connection (DP instead of HDMI)
- problem with the graphic card. this is the most expensive problems of the 3, because the only solution is to get a new one!

hate to say this... but i am also having this issue sinse yesterdays maitence ... on a 3 month old pc.
has happened twice over the course of a 16 hour or so bdo session

I will try the connectivity, but I am wondering how come it's only bdo that's causing this if it was my gpu, I've been able to play lost ark and the finals okay. And I don't think I touched my pc since the last time I played.

Have you been able to sort it out? I just came back to BDO after a year and had the exact issue happen 3 times in 2 hours :(
