And when I read in this topic "the most geared has to stay and the lowest should go to a spot that suits him", who the hell are you to tell somebody he should move?
The stronger of the two players, usually.
Exactly. It's the actual system and it's not for nothing.
Pkers just want to force dfs because they don't want to be red. Easy for them...
But the same way pkers blame griefers or karmabomb, in the other hand there are players coming on YOUR spot when you're already there and don't have to change. He wants to dfs just because he wants to kill you and take YOUR spot! You refuse DFS and they call you griefer after PKing you.
DFS is not a rule and will never be, and that's good because it's just an easy way for pkers to avoid consequences made by the system.
And when I read in this topic "the most geared has to stay and the lowest should go to a spot that suits him", who the hell are you to tell somebody he should move? When I farm at Mirumoks and not at Orcs because I'm most optimized for there, it's already the good spot for me. So why an overgeared comes and wanna dfs me there?
Of course I refuse! I'm there, so he can switch server! That's what I do when I see a spot taken: I switch, I don't bother and interrupt the farm of another! So why pkers keep bothering us?
I fully agree with you.
I quote myself from another thread:
There is no need to kill mob stealer. First talk with them, tell them you were first on a spot. In most cases they leave. If they don't leave try to outgrind them or feed them to mobs or declare war or change spot or channel. I understand you are pissed and want to punish them, but don't be dumb and kill them and go red. A grindspot it's not worth to go red. Don't let the intruder win. Sometimes the mob stealer are starting to kill you, if they realising you won't leave and these people shouldn't lose Karma? In my opinion the grinder who was first on a spot is never the bad person, it's always the intruder/griefer. And there other types of intruder, the DFS intruder and the playerkiller. Every player has the right to refuse a DFS request. If you accept and you lose, you have to leave. I always refuse DSF. It's not my fault they kill over and over again. I wont leave the spot, because i was first there. I won't leave not even on Arsha. Karma bombing on Arsha sure. ;) It can be so easy, just leave the grinder alone. An here some tips to avoid trouble, check the grind spot before you start. Make sure the spot is empty before you start. If there is already a player, you can ask how long or look for another spot or change channel. Never annoy the grinder.
Every player has the right to grind in peace.
Thank you for making my point for me, as Chriszo, has so kindly said, basically you're forced to accept defeat, in a situation because the harassing party is given complete dominion of the situation, you have no recourse except to give up your spot, which you may have been on for a long time, because of the harassment of another player.
BIG TRUE.
I've been playing MMORPGs for 20+ years and Black Desert Online is the only one that I have EVER played wherein the weaker player is able to bully the stronger player and they have little to no recourse. It's mindblowing.
All you can do is capitulate or go Red. The penalties for going Red are far too punitive and never made any sense to begin. They needed to be re-evaluated 3-4+ years ago.

Funny because in each mmo pk is not welcome and is severely punished, and each mmo has modes and channels dedicated to pk where it belongs.
Which of the largest and most popular mmo on the market have open pvp? Oh yeah, none of them.

Every player has the right to grind in peace.
No. That's the exact contrary here, and it's intended.

That's exactly this kind of answer, there, that makes dislike forced pvp!

Answers like this makes me doubt "Karma Bombing" even exist; not gonna lie, this makes me think you ganked some Player and when this Players refused to give up you continued killing them until you went Red.
And then you came to this forum to complain about "Karma Bombing" lol.

Yeah... And it's sad because people who talk like that don't realize they disgust us of them... They don't even realize that karmabombing exists because of them!
And they complain...

Dota 2

And Battlefield. ROTFL.
GTA V - singiel player with optional multiplayer.
Dota 2 - moba, as the acronym says: multiplayer online battle arena
Lol - moba
Fortnite - battle royale, oh sorry kids there is no such thing as battle royale, it's just one of the shooting modes called: last man standing, only in a worse version (less honest)
PUBG - battle royale
So you haven't given a single Massive mo game.
Ok, we have one mmo - Archeage - but who plays it? I never knew anyone who played it, never.
Let's see what steamcharts says:
ArcheAge: Unchained - 86 players
ArcheAge - 121 players.
Conclusion is simple: both versions are dead. Dead as Crowfall (fresh open pvp game) is dead.
Also ArcheAge pvp system it's pretty complex:
https://archeage.fandom.com/wiki/World_PvP
And now let's move on to real mmo games:
ESO - no open pvp, only one open pvp zone was added, which met with huge criticism from players, I don't know if it still exists
FF XIV - no open pvp
New World - no open pvp with open pvp as option (you can play 24/7 in open pvp mode and fight with others player with open pvp mode active).
