Simple truth.

Nope BDO was designed from the ground up to be a game about bullying the weak. This design is so strong and evident. To the point that the Devs put hard to get Legendary items. In spots where low gearscore players grind at. So that highier gearscore bullies can have a excuse to bully lessor geared players.

Another example of this pro-bully design, is the grind spot management. They purposely made the game only have a few decent grind spots for EXP, or SPs, or Silver. That in most cases a 550 GS player will find themselves getting fed to mobs by 600+ GS players who out geared the spot. If that wasn't the case they could've made it that after you pass a certain threshold you would stop gaining from said spot. And will move on to a spot where you do gain.

The game is like this by design. So that higher gearscore players will either bully low end players. Into making mass cash shop purchases to stop being bullied. Or just leave the game because they can't get anything done. Because they have to grind in the same spot that high geared players.

Again the choices are to either get bullied for a 2+ more years. Or spend massive amount of money to catch up to the geared. Or leave the game to play something else. That is the business model games like this is built on. They game was built on getting bullied players to spend massive cash in cash shop. End of story!

But I do wonder after all these strong opinions dissing the game, why do you play it? You quite obviously don't like the game. 

They don't. Fearless openly admitted the game isn't even installed on his PC. Retto is on a non-linked forum account. You can tell by looking under his profile pic - it's empty. This points toward this forum account having zero in-game account to reference to. All users show their level and main character name, least from what I've seen - but not this user - completely empty. I wonder why?

These two have always downtalked about BDO, almost to the point of slander and defamation, if that could be applied to a video game. Ever since the old forum, these two users do nothing but throw shade and do their best to trash the game and will continue to do so. Stick around. You'll see for yourself.

They don't play. But still find some reason to stick to the forum to post negative post, after negative post.  Who knows why?

They need something to hate and feel superior about.

Even I have to admit, that this system needs changes. Personally no one tried to karma-bomb me before, but I understand the situation. Two days ago I was grinding with my low-geared lahn for xp, skill and loot(partially). I am grinding for 50 min. Another lahn comes to me, asking for a duel(much better geared and around level 61-63 I don't remember). I ignore her intentionally, pretending not seing the message. I am about finish my lap and he/she kills my last mobs. I stopped. I looked at his char info, when he/she walked close to me, and the other lahn was typing something-something. I found a way to "talk" with him and make him leave me alone, without even a fight. :) I will send a PM to anybody who wants to know. In reality I was cunning.

What needs to get fixed?  If I am in a location first, I will leave when I am good and ready.  I don't poach others' rotations.  If I get killed, I pop a rezz potion and attack.  I see no reason why I should leave.

Karmabooming & Mobfeeding problem SOLVED!!!

I suggest a 20 min Cooldown on karma getting influenced by Gear. About the same duration as a war Dec, but the person can still bomb if they want afterwards.
