Probably unpopular opinion considering people think succ sage has been broken since release even with all the nerfs and changes but the new class balance is going to be painful.
Fishing for CCs is all you can do. Too slow to trade and slow, unprotected, but necessary skills leave you vulnerable, which is how it should be. With every other class losing this vulnerability I guess we just fish even longer and hope the enemy doesn't turtle until we're out of stamina?
If the idea was to help classes not get CCd by mobs in PVE just take away the mob CC like wtf? Or succ sage should get at least a fg/SA on prime illusion expansion to at least contribute to the coming fully protected meta.
This won't be just a sage problem since there are other classes that play similarly. Particularly classes without a grab.
At least sage has the damage to trade and some range to deal with the grabs.

Seeing as how the Global Labs patch focussed more on Protection and CCs for group fights, I'd say PA were correct to not touch Succ Sage.
Why shouldn't sage get an additional super armor or fg in its kit? It requires unprotected skills to combo too. They're slow and easily taken advantage of if you're being targeted or random CCs are flying around.
