There's a lot of options, and I'll provide 2, but having horses go back and forth through town 24x7 is pretty dumb. Give us new methods for afk horse training.
Open to suggestions, here's 2 thoughts I had:
1) Instanced race track for afk riding, like in Marni realm. No PvP, just afk horse riding around a track.
2) Some option to check in your horse at a stable (or Stonetail farm), and pay to have it trained for X amount of silver for X amount of hours. This would also help with all the complaints about disconnects and horses getting stuck.
Post more thoughts please.
Agreed. That would be really nice if they'd implement that. They have things in place to afk train your character and afk fish. So why not a better and safer way to afk train your mounts. It's not just about getting pk'd as you've stated, it's often buggy (horse gets stuck or commits suicide by radomly veering from the path you set up) and the disconnects (of which there are many).
I'm tired of all the afk riders in Heidel.
Yes,
Solves crashing.
I think if you lock some character to afk training it would be a very good idea.
Do it as some option in the stable. So now more AFK riders, No more AFK getting killed (Non town) No more crashes to desktop overnight.
No more getting stuck and wasted time.
I loved the pokemon care option... I mean horse leveling option.
Elvia realm, far from Elvia grindspots. Solves most of your AFK horse training problems and I'm surprised more people don't realize that you can go anywhere inside of Elvia. I don't think PA can fix disconnects, though just paying to level up the horse would solve that. Getting your horse stuck is a skill issue - check your paths people.

Getting horses stuck is not a skill issue (well, it could be if they don't check their loop at least a couple times). It's mostly caused by connection issues, which cause your horse to go off track.
Not a afk-riding suggestion, quite the opposite:
Training a horse's unmastred skills (minigame) should give the horse (and the Trainer) MORE XP than riding at a full sprint gallop does.
...or roughtly the same XP per minute as double-InstantAccel active riding provides on a T8 courser

Agree. You should probably post a new feedback for that.
