Suggestions/Comments: In the recent global labs patch notes was mentioned the possibility of adding grabs to every class.
Please, do NOT give grabs to every class, grab is the most uninteresting CC mechanic Black Desert has.
This mechanic is too strong and resorted to, too frequently. The problem for non-grab classes exist because there are classes that can rotate multiple Super Armors in sequence, without real danger. This problem should be solved by removing some lingering Super Armors (making some Super Armors tighter).

If you add a grab to every class, multiple classes will have to be nerfed in ther mobility, which is their identity. Adding grabs to every class will hurt the class identity.

Some classes are too protected, that's why players without grabs complain about it. Removing some of these protections should be the focus (removing some lingering Super Armors and/or replacing some Super Armors to Frontal Guards is the correct approach).

It's not the grab that's the problem. It's the counter play. They need to add a special V-like ability for when you get grabbed on a much lower cd. (stacking grab rezist is bs)
Also, 90% of classes need a mobility nerf imo.

i dont even want a grab for corsair just remove the resistances and if that didnt fix the issue, touch the protections  and turn some sas into fgs, that should most likely fix the entire thing imo

The two final lines are the very own definition of the problem. So yeah. Too many super armor monkey classes they dont want to nerf

Either all classes have braindead no cooldown I-frame or none do.

The devs aren't competent enough to actually deal with the problem. 

Grabs are too much of a braindead mechanic as it stands now but adding them to every class and increasing the spam is an even worse option. Though it would be funny to see it implemented and shit the bed on arrival. 

Too much SA and too much damage in the game as it is makes for boring perma protected fights where you still somehow die too fast and don't have an engaging back and forth in combat. Option 2 is likely the right loose idea but if they never touch the fact that grabs are a braindead E to win mechanic by making it a 2 cc count or giving a way to punish it then they aren't really solving that angle. 

Not to mention the horrible server issues we have in regions outside of tiny Korea and all of the trouble that will come in group fighting from having everyone shift to FG without massive adjustments.

Does anyone actually have faith these devs can implement option 1, 2, or 3 without making the game worse than it is now? Be honest.

If you're voting for option 3 for the funniness factor or pve angle I completely understand however.

I 100% agree that grabs are braindead mechanic that shouldn't exist but why are always the classical classes without a grab the ones that have to pay for this sin? How about we switch things up instead and give grabs to all classes that didn't have it up until now, and remove it from all classes that have had a grab up until now? PA has already shown there is no criteria they are using to discriminate who has a grab and who doesn't, because most of the current grab classes already have higher capabilities than current non-grab classes so there wouldn't even be a need to rebalance other aspects that much.

They instead should have unique CC's that do not hurt their playstyle, Im all for shaving down some of the grabs. Some classes have too many but if your whole thing is you can run up and grab someone, removing that from them doesn't do anything but ruin their class identity. 

A few classes who use it is not a big deal, but when I mean a few I dont mean 2/3 I mean more like "one, maybe two who base their idenity around it"

Yeah, this I agree with.

Do 2/3 of the class really have grab if you go down the list w/ succ and awk?

Even if a bunch of classes have a grab, some are better used as grabbers, yknow? Are we just talking 1v1? It's confusing, but I do think grab is a meme. I usually have ideas how to fix things, but not with this.  haha big grabfest.
