The weekly quest for mythical feather in the old wisdom tree called "I, too, wish for wings", requires an insane amount of time training horses afk for hours if not days. During this time, players are unable to do anything in game, and for a large amount of people, one cannot even do anything else with the computer, for the fear that running the game on the background is already pushing the limits of the computer.

This type of forced content should not exist. Instead, players should have multiple alternatives to choose between options, such as active gameplay, which should significantly reduce the progress, or means to do group content, to enjoy the gameplay during the progress.

While some might suggest Purchasing the Horse in the market, not everyone can get the chance to build up the money to purchase the overpriced leftovers that occasionally appear on the market.

Suggestions:

-Training Horses should have alternatives that allow players to engage in active entertaining content, either solo or in group content.

-There should be alternative methods to gain the "Golden Seal - [Imperial Training]"

I've been doing that quest for months and never used the Imperial Seals for the powder.  Just skin stuff. If you need the Navarn piece, that's two birds with one stone even.

Do you mean, using energy to use the tanning Knife, for a random chance of getting  asingle "Powder of Ascension"?

I'm not sure if that takes more energy and time than training. Please do share your experience.

Before they increased the drop rate (they've done this twice now), it was very aggravating.  It would sometimes take two hours of gathering to get 5 of them.  But since the increases it's not that hard.  I just tried now for an hour and I got 5 in the first 30 minutes, then got 20 in a mini-game and ended the hour with 27.  So I don't actually have to tan for a month if I don't feel like it.  That's with 1800 mastery.

That's it, I'm tanning from now on : )

I did notice how fast the ferrica carcases despawn now.  Can barely get through tanning 1 pack of ferricas before they start despawning.  Used to be able to do 2 packs at a time..

Hmm.... that's asking a bit much.  1250 is an okay Threshold to expect but anything over 1600 is at least a 100 billion investvent exclusively in Manos gear which just has not been made anymore "accessible" than when it was first released.  (Meanwhile every other type of gear has been or is getting guaranteed PEN paths to it added)

If it helps, 200 of that is from Grolin and Secret Book of Florin. I'm not sure what the difference would be at 1250, but I also wasn't wearing the drop rate artifacts or a gathering lightstone combo because my laptop doesn't have the presets saved.
