The other day, I went to use adventurer's board and one of these popped up. It required that I find all the pictures with cross walks, but the images were so poor, most of what I was looking at was white stripes on toll highways where they separate old lanes out of the new driving section. I think it wanted me to pick those as I kept failing the captcha. Other images were unclear images of motorcycles on sidewalks in some place that looked like urban India. No crosswalk markings. Not sure even if they have cross walks in those images or not as I am not from that culture.

Basically, you need to fire that company. Their images and tests are trash.

The captcha is "reCaptcha", which is a Google product and this means all the images and tests come from google!

Follow up: It's "working" now at least (for some definition of 'working'), instead of being completely broken.  Still, the messaging is misleading or wrong, the images and which are right or wrong suck, if you can even see them, it pops up in inappropriate places, and occurs far too frequently.  And since I just compelted one of those, why do I need to check the box every time I post a response?

Also, up/down voting a comment will still result in a pop-up that says "undefined" if it has been more than a few minutes since the last captcha completion.

Fix this.

Oh, this is new: i checked the captcha box under the response entry text box, and then continued typing for a minute - and then the check was cancelled: "Verification expired.  Check the checkbox again."

What kind of test is this, bullshit tolerance?

And now I can't post, just getting the 'undefined' pop=up.  At least I was able to copy the text and start over.

Going to take a forum break again, see if anything has changed when I return.  Have fun!

It's been more than 2 weeks and PA still is unable to tune up this 'feature' properly. It only shows how incompetent their engineer are at IT stuff, and expectation from the 'game' quality should be similar, I assume. No idea why all websites on the Internet dont do this kind of verification, but PA does. I still cant post normally, cant read forums normally, interrupted every 5 minutes with mandatory solving this stupid captchas.

If I would describe this company and their products with two words, it would be Incompetence and Annoyance. They literally have no idea what 'quality of service' means, and all their 'quality of life' makes me laugh. No wonder they never run customer satisfaction surveys, they may find the inconvenient truth.

edit: was greeted with an 'hCaptcha' when I submitted this post.  Much less intrusive, and protecting an input is more appropriate.

I get those security checks a lot for past month, it only happens on naeu.playblackdesert.com and ingame on the adventure board.
It is so bad, that i am trying to avoid the website as far as i can.

Im on Win 10, it happens on all browsers, firefox, chrome, edge.
Devs really need to have a look at those security check spams.
