Changes for upcoming class "balance"

Suggestions/Comments: Since J is looking around for feedback for their upcoming balance changes and theres almost no posts made about it i guess ill do one, even if PA doesnt care about EU/NA maybe once in a blue moon they check this place who knows..
Divios already made a decent write-up about the main issues with pvp balance so alot of it is more or less the same.
1. Remove resistances in PVP
2. Reduce or fully remove hit stagger (Hit stagger is where ur characters animations get sped up when u get hit by alot of abilities' hits at once. This can make it so protections end before the animation of an ability is fully played out)
3. Nerf debuffs and speed ups Make it so u cant be slowed by more than 20% or sped up by more than 30% of base (5/5 atk/cast speed is listed as base) This will not only make pvp more fun but also reduce desync when u fight classes like succ zerkers that have shai buffs or speed spell with absorb buff.
4. Healing needs a complete overhaul Some classes are fully reliant on their potions with no other heals, other get heals on every single ability. This makes no sense. At the very least nerf Valk, Zerk and Drakania healing.
5. No class should have multiple grabs (And if PA is so keen about keeping resistances, remove the ignore grab passives)
6. Balance Hitrate (Accuracy) between classes more evenly Some classes get good base hitrate on skills, an accuracy passive, an accuracy buff and an evasion shred. While other classes have none, give every class access to an accuracy buff and evasion debuff.
7. Misty Haze (shai skill) is completely overpowered and needs a rework If this skill doesn't get nerfed, the upcoming 15v15 will be an even bigger meme.
Now since PA said they wanted to go with "option 2" which they wanted to turn superarmors into FG and reduce the overall damage..
On paper this sounds good, but will be very difficult to balance all classes.
Let me take Nova awk as example, the class has (a limited amount) superarmors that make her move forwards and some that root her in place. Removing Superarmor from example, swooping ring, a skill that moves u forward, would become unusable if it gets turned into Frontal guard (and essentially killing the class). Other skills like Royal fencing: Remise, is her main close range damage skill that has superarmor and it would be near impossible to play largescale anymore if a skill like this gets turned into Frontal guard.
So please PA dont go overboard with these changes to superarmors and frontals, look at skills that are currently too strong that have superarmor + CC and turn these skills into frontal guard
Good examples of skills that could be made frontal guard from superarmor on Nova:
-Command: Frozen Earth (Superarmor ability that applies a freeze)
-Command: Fianchetto (Superarmor with float)
-Command: Rime Ice (Superarmor with stun)
Now the thing is this is difficult to do for every class, as ranged classes can actually benefit from having Forward guards compared to Superarmors, so please approach carefully.
As for lowering the overall damage, dont go overboard with it, mostly try to target individual skills that hit too hard (like drak ShiftE) and reduce the overall amount of healing accordingly. (Mainly looking at valk, drak and succ zerk)

if if we are balancing all that, also balance mobility and invisibility effects on classes sso that u dont feel your screen is faulty

I 100% agree with these changes something I also like to see are:

1. Same HP numbers

Everyone with the same amount of Health points, I don't understand why a Ranger, Musa, Kuno, ninja.. etc. classes should have very low HP I understand a front-line class should have good health points but the difference in a Musa 6k to a Zerka with 11k hp is crazy.
5k diff in hp is enough to extend your combo by 4-6 more skills depending on your AP and their dr/Eva.

2 . Frontal guards

A Valk frontal guard is not the same as a Musa or a sage block. If frontal guards are going to work there needs to be a change in how they work
they say all defence stats aid towards a frontal guard defence [tankyness] HP, Dr, Eva, but it also seems like some classes like Valk, Nova, drak, that have a lot stronger guards than say, Musa..  If they change the frontal guard I think the protection length should be a little more. this will stop AOE skills from wrapping around the frontal guard and bypassing it. FG should be more tanky and be able to take a hit like Warrior FG but able to be broken with enough damage. [guard breaks skills]

3 . Stamina changes

We are in 2024 black desert is still a fast-paced action combat MMO-RPG back in the day BDO was never a giga fast place game the combat was very flowy and fast but not like we have today, you have about 2-4sec at max to get a combo out this drain Stamina but there are still classes in the game that have stamina problems, Pa you need to look at classes and say what is this class good at what is the identity of this class and where should he be in the battlefield, as a 7year Musa main mostly Succ Musa, I can say that stamina problems is a pain in the game and should not be a thing, I understand that your need stamina to level out the spamming of skills and movement. but when it comes to classes like Musa/Succ Musa this is bad, right now in RBF In succ I go from zone 1 to zone 2 and I have to walk half of the way to zone 2 otherwise all my stamina is going. there is no stamina management in this kind of class, Succ Ninja forces you on the defence so much that they drain all your stamina by trying to survive and not die. Flank classes should be able to freely move around the battlefield as a scout and ping target point for the guild in NW ECT we also need stamina for engaging and retreating and playing defensively. I strongly urge Pa to look at the flank classes' movement again

to remove the stamina problems and maybe increase the stamina in some skills if this needs to be a thing for balance. this alone will bring back the identity of flank class alone something that has been long forgotten since 2019.

4. Damage modifiers and damage nerf
If Pa dose goes with Opt:2 more FG less SA, another thing they could do to lower the damage in the game is change the way damage is being created. When the game first came out we had things called damage modifiers in the game, [they are still in the game] but these modifiers are useless in the current 1-2 shot meta of the game because we get killed when standing up, If we all have less Sa and more FG then earning a CC it is more rewarding and enjoyable, so by nerfing the damage of all classes in the game and then buffing the damage modifiers by a lot 50% + would mean you would have to earn a cc then when the target is on the floor all the damage modifiers could come out. Now sadly there are grabs in the game, as a Musa I think they should all be deleted and made people earn Cc's like back in the day, there are also suck skills and block jump that also affect this but CD timers and animation length could make it more bearable.

5. Grabs, block jump, suck skill/traps

Back in the day before Ninja, we did not have that much trouble with grabs bc the damage was not there mostly, now we have all sorts of stupid things that bypass the game mechanics like grabs traps and suck skills Pa already said they are the most broken part of the game
I have tried to balance grabs in my mind but the only thing that comes to mind is an iframe and grabs not working on FG or maybe turning are V
into counter-grab mechanics, the fact that non-grab classes have to play at a higher skill lv than every grab class in the game is stupid
can we also address the stupid animations of grabs a Zerka can hold a player in the air and even if the player has V'd you are still in his hands
a Lahn grab is so long and a tamer grab is so fast you have to watch the recording in slow-mo to understand it.
I don't know what this fetish is with giving every class a grab but the fact that a 5.1ft tamer can grab a fully grown 6.7ft zerk ruins the game.
can we plz numb the game down to a real level and make black desert skill-based again, I want 2024 to be a black Desert year of recovery and enjoyment I just Pa read these Posts as there are a lot of intelligent people who look at everything in suitable ways.
