This has always been a thing with BDO, it hasn't changed so for all the people who are crying over it still go play WoW, FFXIV, Or GW2. I personally don't care I have 1 of each class because I love the combat of BDO and always will. If you are mad that they are coming out with another female character it's because they probably make more money off of outsits with female characters and I'm not going to hate them for that. It's a tough market and they are still pumping out great content and the game is still fun. Again if you don't like it then leave.

The complaints would be really just noise in the wind if PA had more male characters as it were. 9 male classes against 17 female classes. It also doesn't help that male classes have less customization, less dye options and less costume choices.

Gender lock is not a core mechanic of the game or gameplay.  Really the only thing with gender locking or unlocking is cosmetic.  I just wanna be able to play a male Shai.

What does it help to say something that has been said a thousand of times already and has been denied a thousand of times? It just wastes forum space. Gender unlock will never happen in bdo, it's simply too time intensive and expensive for the company than to just create new classes.

It's not a waste of space to ask for change. This thread on the other hand is. As it's not constructive in the least. It's purpose is to complain about people who in their point of view complain. Isn't that a bit redundant? It's understandable why people are annoyed over genderlock. It's very limiting and serves no real purpose. The ratio between male and female classes aren't balanced at all. So if they cannot (or willnot) remove genderlock, then the logical thing would be to release more male classes. I know there's a male class on the way, hopefully he's good. Personally, I'd rather they remove genderlock though as opposed to releasing more in general as we have too many classes as it is. It's getting ridiculous. Especially when they release classes for the sake of a quick 'cashgrab' rather than creativity.

The game is getting just ridiculous by now already.. imagine it having added now 18 or 20 male classes to balance that imbalance of female game.. game will have around 50 classes than.. it's getting even more of a joke as it is already now.. like whotf wants to see 50 classes in the class creation screen.. the game is dead by that point.. I'd rather really have gender lock removed, which would be always the best solution, but the gamecompany went on the worst path possible..

I'm a male IRL and game with my beautiful wife. But I prefer to play a female character because it's more pleasing to stare at the rear of a cute female character than to stare at the rear of a macho male character for 8 to 10 hours a day. Unless I was Gay of course. Not judging, just being honest. My wife prefers the same. Not because she's a female, but because she says the male characters are not good to look at, and the female's are cute. lol

Bottom line people, It will NEVER happen. They have said it a hundered times over the years. So I agree with the OP on this one. WHY complain about it?

I would love to be 30 years younger but THAT will never happen. But if I complained about it EVERY day on TV, how many people would it irritate? Same difference here.
