So i have a few ideas on how Archer could be improved in multiple ways obviously this is just my oppinion and just putting this out there so this class has more playstyles available to it.

So 1st of all and MOST important would be : REVERT ''Spear of Sylvia'' It was so nice is every single way possible... You had an oppertunity to regain stamina aswell as situate the fight. Is your oppenent going agressive? -> Cancel it with ; Meteor Dive, Tactical Roll, Glide, ect. Also for Pve it was some nice HP recovery (Not allot but nice atleast).

2nd. I feel like the only thing we can do now as Archer is Kite away from our opponents and thats it... Espescially if you VS ANY Q-block class, Take Guardian for example running at you FULLY SA'd + Frontal guarded! Nothing you can do... Warrior same thing... I can keep going... Please for the love of god give us a very short ''Melee Grab'' This allows us to take MORE risk to attack our opponent instead of running away from them! Aswell as this unlocks potential for our OLD & MOST LOVED + SATIFSIYING attack (imo) Close range ''Full Bloom''. 

I know that ''Righteous Smite'' Does allot of frontal guard dmg HOWEVER! This dephends on what AP you have. If you don't have enough AP this is a litteral joke, im speaking out of personal experience where i cannot blow up their frontal guard if they have simular gear (Trials aswell). Obviously this is ignored by the Gearlords that can 1-shot their opponents anyway or 2-shot them. 

3rd Changes i'd make to balance it out more for both playstyles (Close range + Long Range).
Remove the flow from Luthagon, IKNOW allot of the long range playstyle will hate me for this but... i can't keep everybody happy. Let's face it... The skill is broken. Luthagon is already REALLY good, we don't need an extra broken flow... If anything give us our Melee attacks from awakening back so allow even more close range match-ups with our new grab! 

4th. Like i don't even know why i have to say thing but... What in the actual .... Does ''Shadebound beam'' do for us???? Easiest delete button ever. If anything keep it for the siege players, i don't really care that much about this. I just feel like this wont be used anywhere else but Siege thats it.

5th. Also i don't understand why when we are in ''Meteor Dive'' we can still get grabbed even though technically our character is floating up in the sky... But our character model is still on the floor... Same goes for ''Radiant Explosion''. MAYBE we could change this to where we are actually in the air? Like how striker and mystic go up in the sky aswell for Scholar. Not neccecarry for ''Radiant Explosion'' But it is a wonky animation to get grabbed out of the sky because i guess he/she grabs our ancle? Or put (No collision) on them instead.

Quick TLDR : Revert Spear of Sylvia, Give us a short melee grab for offensive potential + high risk high reward, Remove the flow of Luthagon called ''Flow: Echoes of the call'', (debateable) Remove/Rework Shadebound Beam and lastly is (no collision) on ''Meteor Dive'' + ''Radiant Explosion'' Or change it to actuall air attacks.

Why on god's green earth does Archer need any type of buff? It's literally one of the top 4 war classes in the game right now. Why should a ranged class that can nuke entire balls get a grab or extra safety options to deal with its counters in exchange for losing one flow? Why why why WHY???? The whole current design of archer is you trade most of your 1v1 potential for being an artillery shell of a class with big ranged damage and kiting skills designed to help you get back to the ball when separated. You aren't supposed to be able to fight solo. But even as it is, the way it ends up is far too much with the current state of the game. It just does too much damage too easily.

If anything should change, it should get a damage nerf, nothing more. If you want anything else, then they can completely revert the archer reboot changes and give it back the old playstyle. But I suspect all the archers would cry a river of tears because they would figure out how broken the spec currently is and whine for it back.

Again i don't mind getting the damage nerf. If you read all of the thread i did say that some skill are ''too broken'' and we don't need it. And yes is siege this is one of the highest dmg dealers for this reason. For me i didn't post this for siege but, for the 1v1 potential. And again high risk high reward of going close to your opponents instead of standing on roofs one-shotting people as they walk by or try to get close. I AGREE TO NERF THIS. I love the smoothness of the class but, i also like going agressive. Not being forced to run away from certain classes. That was the entire point i was trying to make here. 

By all means nerf everything i don't care. Just give us more oppertunities to play the class instead of being a roofcamper.

Archer is a fine to strong duelist against anything that isn't a shield block. And even then the Gameplan doesn't change much, it just slows down. Meanwhile he sacrifices nothing of his absurd large-scale performance for this. Git gud.

People in this thread really be reading a bunch of nerfs and go like: why are you asking for buffs lol

Nerfing the damage would simply make archer a dead spec in every content, what it needs is a nerf in range/aoe options, shifting it to something more similar to the dark knight playstyle = worse siege potential and better small scale/AoS
