Using the exact same drivers before and after patch. My system is a 7950X3D and RTX 3080. Before the Xigncode3 patch, my 7950X3D stayed below 75C at all times on remastered. After patch it will regularly pass 80C and sometimes hit 85C, and when launching the game it will spike up to 90C. Thermal limit on X3D chips is 89C, so this is definitely not okay.
I have the game running with a core affinity of 2-13 and all 3D v-cache cores are undervolted by 22 mV. CPU is being cooled by a 280 mm AIO cooler.
7800x3D and just noticed these insane spikes as well.
Booting the game shoots the temp up to over 80 degrees, while during gameplay it generally hovers around 50 but now comes with irregular, but common, spikes to around 75 for roughly 20 seconds a pop.
What the fuck is happening here?
I cant even boot the game, temps spike to above 90C and the game closes. I'm on a 7800x3d and a 4090.

The way that xigncode operates, looking for hacks, is causing your system to freak the fudge out.
how is this not rolled back yet? i sincerely hope that a fuckup of these proportions opens PA to litigation.

It sucks, I hate suggesting this, but underclock your CPU and see if that improves anything. Are you running an AIO or water cooling loop at all?

It won't be rolled back because their service contract with EAC ended, we're stuck with xigncode3. This will put pressure on xigncode to fix it.

that's not what i mean. the xigncode worked fine on wednesday and thursday. only the thursday update started this shitstorm, so they definitely should have rolled back the thurday patch to the state it was on wednesday after the maintenance.
This is not normal.
No other game even makes me reach 80 degrees
but BDO at start gets me nearly 90 degrees
Experiencing the same issue with 7800x3D and 6950XT.
Temperature spikes to 91 degrees on game start.
Then falls to 65 degrees in character select screen.
Hovers around 85 degrees ingame.
My usual temperatures we're between 55-65 degrees.
No new drivers or other system changes recently.
No overclocks applied to the system.
No custom affinity mask is applied at game launch.
No windows tweaks applied yet on what is pretty much a clean install on W11 Pro that's around a year old.
