While saying that...
Multiple people have seen a shift in thermals after they changed their anticheat, that calls for some action of PA looking into it.
Regardless if someone says/states that it is okay, it needs to come from Pearl Abyss, not us in the forum.
We raised a concern, they need to respond. Not by people flamming or doing chat pvp on the forums. It's unnecessary.

Have a nice weekend.

it's not after changing to xigncode. everything was fine on xigncode on wednesday, don't you understand that this only started after they "upgraded the security module to the latest version" on thursday?

why can't people understand basic logic and timelines of events?

they should just roll the thursday update back to the state it was oin wednesday while looking for the culprit and a solution. simple as that.

it's probably just that you're dumb as a rock. everything works fine with xigncode on wedseday, then they update it on thursday and it goes haywire. surely that completely normal and should work like that.

just stop posting, you're mentally challenged and lack any logical thinking.

you are just a clueless idiot that cant help anyone in here, why u just stop posting?

So, the timeline here is:

.) Xigncode gets added, many people cannot log in or crash on server selection

.) "Security Update" happens, login issue fixed, but AMD CPU users see 20-30°C higher temperatures

.) A thread for the new issue gets made, people come together to report this now pretty apparently universal experience

.) An angry keyboard warrior appears and tells everyone that their CPUs reaching the 90s, partially making their systems crash is all good, not of any concern and that they are stupid

Something about that last point makes me believe that there is only one person that doesn't know what they're talking about and they're definitely not part of the group of people experiencing sudden temperature spikes

if your system crashes, you have a problem not because of BDO. You just set up a bad system probably.

everything under 90° is normal, what i tell you for a million times now.

but idc what you are doing with the system, i dont want to get insulted trying to fix other peoples problems

No its not normal when your game before patch is working normally and have mormal temps with uncapped fps nearly 300 and then suddenly they add something and u have nearly 90c on CPU with fps drop.

It can be normal when game is demanding but holy S not when I have low/graphic and temps on CPU are much higher than supposedly to be without any increase in CPU usage. I can run every stress test every benchmark and it won't get past 85c. I can run cyberpunk in highest graphical setting and it's not spiking like bdo right now. So don't spread BS because u clearly trolling.

The initial release og xigncode was fine for me. I only noticed higher temps after that mini-update they did for the security module.

I noticed quite a high peak temp in the first 5 minutes of loading the game and then it settled down. But through around 6hrs of playing last night I saw similar apparently random spikes.

Specs:

OS: Windows 11 Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS
GFX: RTX 4070
RAM: 32GB

You're not helping anyone. All you're doing is downplaying the experiences of other players. The volume of anecdotal evidence suggests there is clearly something at play. I don't know why you're running defence for PA but it's really annoying so you should probably exit this thread and never come back.

maybe cap your bdo then? mofc the cpu shrugs, when you turn everything down but highest frames

I'm happy I actually didn't get affected by this issue, rinning 5800X3D with 7800XT, I've seen no changes in CPU thermals at all.
Some of my friends running the same chip also haven't seen this issue, but looking at the number of people affected this is no joke.

We all know PA is a multiple cent company, but it would be good if they actually take this seriously.
Also for whoever is affected I would urge you to send an official support ticket to make sure this is actually being given the appropriate attention. Forum posts are all well and good, but tickets would rope in more attention.

Hope it gets sorted out sooner than later.
