can confirm malicious and possibly harmful behaviour of latest patch. (AMD 7800x3d)

cpu temps go through the roof, fans spinning at max, abnormal high stress for no reason.

I contacted the support department, but the solutions they propose do not solve the problem. They are afraid to admit that the error is on xigncode's side. They suggest problems with the computer and an incorrect version of Windows. They ignore the fact that many people have problems after the patch from January 17.
I hope they finally let the publisher know there are problems and don't marginalize the problems.

Since the latest update at 17th Jan my friend and i have same issue.

Tempatures are 78-82 C since opening of the game. 

We both have 7800x3d

Before that we did not event excess 70C

Hi guys, I have the ryzen 7, 5800x3d, holy smokes, my temperature is hotter than the sun. I'm able to stay warm in my room, BUT my PC is on fire. Like legit. This xigncode3 eats a tons of cpu resources.

During todays session monitored by CPUID HW Monitor my AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X3D spiked at 91.9 C according to the app, my GPU at 84 C, its a new setup from 10/2023 and i never had any issues whatsoever before this week.

I literally have to stop playing the game to prevent to fry up my Pc.

As others have I've also recently noticed temp spikes with my 7800X3D, I really hope this isn't something PA is just going to ignore.. you can't open the game without spiking and I noticed if you press escape in-game and the little window pops up that will also drive up temps. 

I too was experiencing crazy high temperature spikes of up to 80 degrees Celsius. I could hear my fans ramping up.

An update for XIGNCODE has been released at the time of this post and I'm hoping it fixes the CPU usage and temperature issues experienced by many AMD and Intel users.

If not, I may have to consider shelving this game since it's simply too harmful to run on an expensive PC.

So the problem is considered to be gone by now? To be fair i dont know what rise in temperature happened earlier or would be normal running bdo and YT or whatever on 2nd monitor but i still get + 30 °C by now when starting BDO just not + 40 °C as last week.

There was no issue 2 weeks ago and now my fans are always running but just when playing bdo, when starting battlenet nothing happens.

Issue is definitely not fixed, they have not even acknowledged it besides a generalized hotfix for "security".
