my take on blackstar: a cheat gear to allow players to reach high monster ap

my idea: remove blackstar from the game and make boss weapons meta again.
Why? -> Because the "end-game spots" aren't endgame as long as you have the pen blackstars.

The end-game spots would be a true end-game spot when you grind it with weapons that doesnt give you 100 bonus monster ap.
You are curious "How do i grind tungrad ruins then?!"
and i tell you here's how:
- +15 AP furniture buff (you will hunt for it).
- Full elixir rotation (you have plenty of elixirs on marketplace to not worry about it anymore)
- Perfumes / draughts
- Krogdalo wind horse set gear (+5 ap)
- simple cron meal, villa buff, church buff
- full PEN accs (thats why they're called end-game Spots, so only end-game players will grind the spot and not every average pve andy with 3 pen blackstars and a full pve crystal set)
- optimal build for specific spots (so you actually have to prepare to grind a end-game spot, expecting the monsters to be a true danger)
- PvE crystals (ofc you already have these)
 **There might be more stuff to enhance your attack power**

It would also be nice if PA could "nerf" the spots to suit more the Boss Weapons. 
I know many of us are using these weapons for our drip, if this will be wanted (i doubt it) then would also be nice for PA to make Blackstar be a piece of outfit.

I HATE TO SAY THIS BECAUSE I AM A X3 PEN BLACKSTAR ENJOYER TOO. But the game isn't challenging anymore, its just a brainless grindfest where you either run in circle or stand still, i know the game needs to be easier to bait new players (that will quit anyway after 2-3 months cuz the game is too boring for them and can't bother grinding 1k hours to get decent gear)

We also need to remove marni realm and other stuff because its not healthy for the game but that's for another speech.

So screw gear progression, let's turn the clock back to 2018?  Why stop there, let's go back to Liverto!

You certainly have the option to stick to boss gear if you want.  What's stopping you?  A:  Because you'd rather use your "end game" gear.

So you want to tell me, that 1 tapping a free TET to PEN Blackstar is healty for the game? giving free AP?
Dandelion Kzarka and Kutum used Caphras for progression, caphras which u usually POd and grinded.
Most players will quit anyway when they get to the accessory part, unless daddy PA will give them a full set of PEN accs.

I roam around servers to gearcheck players, to see if they really deserve to be at end-game spots or they are there just cuz blackstar carry their booties.

I used to play this game everyday because it was a harder sandbox mmorpg than other games, you needed to grind for all your gear and self enhance them, where i am supposed to go now? if i don't speak up and try to at least bring back the good old times... i guess Xingcode3 came back... not the best thing that could've happened.
Most of my friends left the game when PA did alot of cheesy stuff to bait new players into the game and tried to make the game easier than should be.

why not simplify and make it only one weapon like PA want to do with all the items, there are bunch of useless items that can be merged or even deleted from the game

you mentioned one of them, Liverto. Everybody trash the item anyway when they get it from world bosses (i don't even know why they even drop it)

Well, because I'm a really optimistic player, I suspect that Devs may want to streamline weapons and armors (with some slight variations, like we have on some fallen god armor parts), maybe accessories too (the debo rush looks strange to me) so that we can exchange these items and tweak our builds.

Then, crystals and artifacts would become the real variations of our builds (and for that, I suspect that there may be new yellow crystals in the future).

As gearing is a really long process in BDO, if the potential build variations relies more on cheap items than on expensive armors and weapons, it may in fact help build diversity.

I never understood why some equipments would come with so much pve stats, in a pvpve game. Aren't we supposed to be able to practice both of them in our pvpve world?

This may be one potential explanation.

Go play guild wars 2 if you want to see what happens without gear progression.

If you had one tapped your tet blackstar then this thread would not exist. 

Instead of removing we should just buff all yellow grade weapons to the state of blackstars. Kutum shield somehow is 99% same on stat and nobody demand nerf Kutum. So why Kzarka and Dande can't go the same route?
Both BS and Boss gear could exist and work pretty well depend how you prefer to progress. Remember they announced Slumbering Origin weapons and if we look how armor work then we can assume C20 Kzarka will do the job just like C10 boss gear work now.

yeah true.... sadly i 2 tapped my pen bs mainhand and 2 tapped pen bs sub weap, just cuz i was bored and i wanted to push fail stacks.. awakening was a little pain like 6 or 7 clicks

Nerf DR and buff HP for mobs. easy fix

ppl hating on you if you talk about making their BS not an absolute requirement to play the game
