PA plans on leaving 16 of the changed crystal for each type in your CM inventory.

Crystals beyond 16 will be refunded according to the CM price. 

Haha, the number of people unable to read a thing and jumping to conclusions is what is wrong with humanity.

Your compensation is getting a bunch of crystal slots back, and ease of use.  You are losing nothing, you are just not getting given a gift.  

The added silver you get for having more than 16 mastery or 16 XP crystals should be considered a bonus.  

I hate most of the recent changes PA has done to lifeskilling.  From the effortless Sacks and uknown seeds that destroyed rare gem and truffle gathering across the map, to simplified materials that will destroy diverse market trends and force everyone to compete with the same materials, to giving everyone generalized crystals that ruin specialization and make it easy to reach 2k mastery or in everything, and totally shitting on veteran lifeskillers in the process in more than a few ways.

I once felt BDO was one of the best lifeskilling mmorpgs but it is quickly becomming one of the worst imaginable.  I really cannot understand why they think its okay to change the rules so drastically.   Lifeskilling should have been left out of simplification the devs are making a terrible mistake.

Seriously though - can you try to explain why this change is bad to the 99 % of players who agree that having 16 crystals x 11 lifeskills is insanely punishing and unusable system that is just not worth the effort? Think the cost, the crystal inventory slots, the crystal preset slots, the low value return, the inventory management hell. I am usually able the comprehend the perspective that I do not agree with but this - wanting to keep the current system is like shooting yourself in the foot. Why would anyone do that?

Was there not once a day when life skilling mastery crystals did not exist? lol. I've never used them. Seems kinda cheap. That in and of itself is a wack change. 2000 is a weird cap, sure, given all the extra crap.

I think that the idea of making life skilling into kinda a secondary thing when some of us thought of life skilling as 'the game' is indeed crappy. I won't go into what changes we agree with or disagree with, but they definitely have that idea now and it's going to have an impact. Even if 1/100 players is actually a true life skiller, it's still wack imo. I spent my first 100m silver that I got from having my acct inactive for years on life skill gear and started chopping up stuff. Went on energy quest. I didn't ever complete the main quest line. I rarely will do stuff like a world boss. I have massive loot scrolls cuz I don't grind... I've been doing almost exclusive life skill. Sure, I kill mobs for guild quests and stuff. But it's a totally different mindset. I like BDO combat, but yeah, I think their life skilling + the CM was pretty cool. It's not gonna change that, really, but knowing how they feel about life skill, that it's just some gate to gearing, is pretty wack. I went around with the most awful gear for the longest time, just life skilling. Haha. My gear is still pretty awful. Even my life skill gear is awful by some standards, but I get er dun.
