Today's GLab Patch Notes started with the Guild League ranking system. And I'm wondering if the implementation of the 72-hour cooldown (CD) for mercenaries is related to this content. That would explain why they could think about such a bad decision without considering the consequences for all PvE players.

A 72-hour CD starting when you return to your guild means that if you merc on Monday evening, you'll be allowed to merc again only on Friday night. It's not 3 days, it's 4 days away from a system in which you were able to do an activity every night. This is a huge problem. If it was a 24-hour CD, I would have understood more, to avoid abuse in the League, or even Guild bosses. But 72 hours? It is a really bad idea.

Not only will PvP players be impacted, but PvE players as well, as many enjoy being mercenaries in other guilds to spend time with buddies or do guild activities they can only do once a week in theirs. It is already a thing for Castle owners to not be able to merc for an entire week, and they are quite unhappy about it, but they deal with it because it is the price to pay for owning a territory.

What are we gaining with a 72-hour CD for mercs? Even more AFK guilds who could be active once a week? Do we need to remind PA that joining a guild equals 7 days as an apprentice? You add on top of that, that you need a 72-hour CD to merc? So people will leave their guild to have no CD?

Monday as a merc, next day as a merc with no guild, Wednesday I join a guild to do it as a member, next day I leave the guild so I can join as a merc with no guild, then on Friday I can do it again? Because there is no CD for mercs for people who don't have a guild. That's a thing!

Bring back guild boss rewards, or lower them if it's the only reason! But changing the mercs CD isn't the solution if you want to keep people in the game. And in the situation where it's for the League or Node, apply the CD only for the merc that pressed the 'ready' button, not all of them.

100% agree and it is very likely that the upcoming PVP is the reason for this change.
Maybe it is time that we get two separate systems for war heroes, the first for PVP content(NW/Siege/GuildLeague) and the second for guild bosses.
I think that players will be forced to be guildless to enjoy the content they want cannot be healthy for the game

Are they serious? I mean, we can understand the issue with the guild league, but doing it without creating another solution for one of the last joint guild activities is sad.

You focus on "community" and "team play" by creating dungeons that 80% of players don't know if they've done them twice in all their time playing. The only activity that united the players was the mercenary contracts for the guild boss and the NW ones, should we players understand that you are trying to kill any type of communication and fun between the communities created over time? It was as if you were focusing mainly on creating more fun content and not on destroying it, at least that's how I remember you saying at Capheon Ball: "We want to make guild bosses more interesting". I don't understand why you should let's join once every 72 hours a guild that also maybe next is a guild that I don't like and we don't have a place in the other one. Do you consider that a billion/day is a fortune? I want to mention that an hour of grinding on the big spots offers the same money and even an hour of hunting offers maybe even more than a billion. Oops, I shouldn't have said that because now you go and update hunting to get 200/H.

The community of guild bosses and NW deserves an explanation and deserves more.

What a brilliant idea to remove the possibility of merc in a guild every day! Who really needs this superfluous feature anyway? We're all here to swim in the Abyss of frustration, aren't we? Who'd have thought we'd be playing Black Desert to make money and friends? Pearl Abyss, you're the undisputed masters of pleasure deprivation! What's the next update?! Removing the ability to move our characters? Bravo for this brilliant initiative to sabotage our pleasure, really, we can only admire your genius!
