awa wizard got really REALLY shafted this update, it didnt even get 700 max mana via pet blessing like witch did. :/

and nether spec got elementalization fixed or additional mag eva flow charges. 

hope devs dont think these changes are enough (altho witch did get some nice mechanical changes i guess)

To be fair, the developpers only said they've improved the defensive aspect of the Awakening Witch; aka strenghtening this aspect. It does not mean that she's defensive per se.

I would like to understand Pearl Abyss angle when during Reboot, they envisioned that Flow : Magical Evasion cooldown had to go through 5 sec cooldown -> to 4 seconds cooldown.   Then about two years later, go through another similar change Flow: Magical Evasion cooldown 4sec -> 3 sec.  Objectively speaking, what are the calculations made for these changes? Will it be 2 seconds cooldown in 1 year from now?

The problem is that we use Magical Evasion to relocate from one place to another whenever we have to do it. Or we burn through teleport or elementalization. By giving a plathora of skill interruptions such as Equilibrium Break and Yoke of Ordeal,   stoppable via Magical Evasion or Elementalization, it's all relying on these movement skills.

It feels very strange to have so many cancels and small techniques centered around Magical Evasion and usually melee to mid range stuff when it's unprotected half of the time if not more.

The changes are appreciated for sure. But, they don't really change the way the class will be player by much. Unless we're massively misunderstanding that F pet summon change.

dont know how it is for witches,... but wizard when he cancels skills with flow: mag eva (ones he can) the pet flow gets stopped instantly and vanishes. which kinda is totally retarded since pet flows are separate entities.

its like these class specs simply arent allowed options or fun.

We need actual real changes to mobility and durability for their patch to mean anything.

Magic guard is still unprotected to cast, still deletes all your mp, and still cann't be always active.

Moving cast speed off of fissure wave is arguably a nerf.

and with the lack of split tp or 0 second cooldown magic evasion, we still will not be able to reposition our forward guards effectively and are still just bottom of the barrel fodder class.

Meanwhile.... warrior is getting reverse split damage, better engages, more durability, buffs to their movement to not lose protection at all, and better skill linking with faster and more protected combos.

its literally like they gave us some intern that makes coffee to do stuff for our class while all the devs with brains are working on strikers or whatever.

I saw they did something interesting with our mobile counterpart this past week where using teleport while it is on cooldown will put you in super armor and return you to the original spot. Why can't we get stuff like that on PC

It is a bit of a mix. Witch damage is a lot more backloaded than wizard, with quite a few of our flows having start up time, and some going off after you have already dashed away.

More importantly, the class is VERY fg focused compared to wizard and the inability to reposition those frontal guards at least as fast as other classes repeatedly get behind them makes her instantly dead and feel almost like she has no protections a lot of the time.

It has been several weeks since the last update for awakening witch, which did next ot nothing to fix any of the core issues with the class.

Not only is the class devoid of movement and identity but it also eats up my entire quickslot bar too lol
