Black Desert will begin in a moment.

Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

This is a post for all the forums participants who are making a huff about this-PA plans to make BIG changes to how guilds operate.

So some of the existing functions need to be trimmed to not stand in the way of new developments.

 You may see this change as a bad thing now, only because you have yet to see the entire picture. 

I speculate that the value of guild bosses and guild missions will rise significantly, so limited merc'ing is required to prevent abuse of new features. 

So everyone please relax.

Due to the fact that you need 100 people for uncapped Nodewars only a few guilds manage to do 3 or more nodewars per week. For those people the merc system is the only way to actually get additional nodewars and content because all other content gets deleted step by step.

PvP content is the only one which does not give money and people still doing it for the content and ONLY for the content. This change is another punch in the face for every PvP and Nodewar oriented player.

They are buffing guild boss money - people abusing the shit out of it and they throw another hit to PvP content. Nerf the guild boss money or the ability to merc for guild bosses if you want to fix your problem.

even with new timers u can do couple of merc pvp gigs per week.

Most of the time you have 1 more per week with this system. Sometimes 2 more. There is no reason for this. Especially because Nodewars are actually taking money out of the economy if you use Elixir Rota and Deep Sea and so on so it helps against inflation a bit. I don't see any reason why you should limit the amount of times you can go to Nodewar if the problem is that guild boss money is broken. Just nerf the bosses or the mercing in guilds for bosses. Not the mercing for nodewars.

Developers disconnected from reality as always..
It's the fault of our CMs and SEA CMs who never took the trouble to inform PA that there are guilds that chain """weekly""" bosses 8 times/week
Now that players have been exploiting it for years and news boss loot fo weeks, they have finally addressed this problem while penalizing PvP players...

Penalize 1b/day for what? You can get the same at all endgame grindspot

Stop throwing "inflation" to destroy the game like how lifeskilling is now becoming worthless because of people complaining lifeskilling make good money

The horror of people being able to make 7b a week from guild bosses, when someone can grind for 4-5 hours at any Dehkia spot and make that same amount.  

Its the same thing with Trading and why we could not move trade goods on tagged characters, people might have made 300m an hour when standard grinding is 1b per hour.

If in this game like many others there are limited activities it's because there is also a good reason behind it.


If one day they decide to up the rewards, it will be based on the honest guilds who do this content as planned by them
So you can imagine the issue that can result if a balance is made in relation to weekly content when some people abuse it every day

Especially since there are thousands of guilds in all regions of the game who don't abuse it and find themselves completely biased because of you


You have to stop being selfish, you should consider yourself lucky to have devs who are so slow to react and have let you exploit this system all this time

Have you noticed a topic on the forum titled: we don't want time-limited content?

If I had even the slightest desire to continue playing BDO, I would also join the merc group and kill guild bosses every day.

Not for profit, but for fun (and loot by the way).

Do you realize that BDO players organize themselves for many activities outside the game?
Atoraxxion, whale, khalk, the mentioned guild bosses, field bosses, rawr-rawr.

And do you know why they do it?
Because these systems in the game simply work badly and despite hundreds of comments and opinions on the forum, they have still not been improved or have even been broken even more (like rawr-rawr or whale and khalk).

And PA, instead of focusing on improving the playability of this content, adds more pointless 300 ap / 400 dp zones. For whom? For that 0.1% of players?

Do not make a merc cooldown! The guild bosses are fine, this is not an exploit, 1bil a day is nothing extreme and you can easily make it by grinding! It's great teamplay content in a game, which is in desperate need of more of that! 

Don't mess with something the community loves!
