This is a big reason why I don't like grinding at Dehkia spots, I randomly get busy or phone calls and because of this pointless cost you pay every time you pause the lanter I just go to others normal spots to not deal with that instead, it need to be removed or lowered by a lot, we're not all robots with no life that can just be a whole hour always grinding with no interruptions.

Hmm, I also do not particularly like the starting cost. Yet, here are some of my thoughts about potential benefits of the system. The purpose might be preventing players from taking a spot for 15 minutes, then leaving or having a pause, then returning and annoying a person with DFS who in their right mind took the spot, as they saw it was empty for 15 minutes. Even people who like DFS (unlike me) might think twice whether they want to set up a culture when someone asks them for DFS 3 times in 15 minutes and every time, they have to reset the lantern. So in effect, it may deter mindless DFS spamming.

i feel very rarely ppl dfs for dehkia lantern, if you afked while mob spawned already i dont think ppl will take it and if you left or swap character you just lose the spot. unlike most grind spot dehkia usually have multiple spawn ppl can grind and even if the ppl left is being an ass the 2nd person can just go to another lantern spot care free if there isnt a activation cost.
