Cooking & Alchemy Imperial Crates Revamp

Suggestions/Comments: 

Improve imperial crates by raising the cap limits - instead of based on your CP do it based on your rank in that lifeskill or a combination of the two (CP + Rank/Level in Cooking/Alchemy). 

I also would love to see alchemy and cooking not having a shared cap. Allow lifeskillers to turn in alchemy and cooking imperial crates independently. 

This way it continually maintains a decent supply vs demand on the market but also benefits those lifeskillers who advance into the higher guru levels.

they need todo something I have to many of each and will never get them all sold unless i do not cook or Alc anymore

Balancing alchemy to be as good as cooking I do not think is possible but detaching alchemy would be healthier, if even doing alchemy being 1/4 of CP instead of 1/2 the CP.

I'd like if the payout for boxes was increased as well. I do lifeskilling because it breaks up the monotony of grinding but I am always feeling that its silly because it does not compare at all to grinding mobs. You could say that grinding is out of control but I would rather go with improving the systems to make lifeskilling more profitable. Doesn't matter how much mastery you have, the time you spend doing your boxes or even trying to cook for profit pales in comparison to just running in circles and killing monsters. Hundreds of millions of silver worth of gap.

I dunno if it should be more profitable, or even comparable/competitive to lifeskill vs grind, but the difference between the two activities is staggering in the state that the game is in.

The investment required for you to make 300mil an hour, or even just 300 mil a day from lifeskilling is huge and takes a while. Then just pick pretty much any popular grind spot, you're making double that if not more from an hour of killing things.

one easy thing they could do is make it so you can turn in same max number of boxes of each kind

If the payout on the imperial boxes went up, the cost of meals would go up and the margin would remain unchanged.  They need to allow 2x the CP per daily turnin because even equal to daily turn in will make it so you are still only making 220m per day instead of 110m over material costs self crafting.

In all actuality, they should just remove the cool down all together.  Set the maximum sale price for imperial boxes to be 1.5x the maximum material costs, and set the max price of meals to be 2.5x the material costs at max so people can sell the meals or they can just package them and sell them to NPCs.
