As the title states, this is a feedback for the ocean side of the fight. Anything you want to add from your experience during last night's War of the Roses that's related to the sea, throw it in here. GM's are looking for feedback, not solely on .the land side, but in all aspects for WotR.

Personally, I have three I've mentioned in another post, but I will reiterate/repost them here:

- Ocean section needs capture points/sanctions that grant stats: of which I would suggest being in the form of mermaids that grant stats like sanctums do, and once killed go into a hibernation state for something like 2 mins. After that state, the mermaid becomes attackable again by the side that didn't claim it, and the side that did can defend it. It would give a reason to have ocean pvp in the form of stat gain, and in having these would likely increase the fights out there. Multiple reasons exist as to why the ocean fights died down early on tonight, but this was probably the main one. That said, there was absolutely no lag/desync while fighting out there from my perspective. Additional point to this would be possibly the ocean points giving more stats than land, but also having less of them in general.

- The invisible walls that are in the southern middle section of the ocean down there need to be pushed back. One can easily get stuck on them while sailing to the opposing side. Navigating an invisible wall while fighting others can get your boat sunk, but you also have to be cautious because you have no clue where the end of the zone is either, so you end up hugging too close to the land in some cases(like when circling the castles). This is an additional point to my original post: opening the area up a bit more south of the land for a wider play area for boats to fight in could lead to more interesting and fun fights out there.

- Getting sunk during this game mode makes sailors sick. While completely positive naval and land karma, your sailors get sick if you sink during War of the Roses. Its akin to having your crystals deleted - albeit not as expensive as the currect crystal replacement can be, but could negate anything you would make silver-wise from this game mode.

- Gear requirement adjustments for life skiller/sailor sign-ups(Suggestion from SaltyScallywag). Sailors can participate in WotR, but don't necessarily have land gear that equals the minimum req's while having the means to fight evenly on the ocean.

- Re-Examine the current penalty to being sunk, improve QoL with Sailors and the UI related to them(VERY much needed change overall game modes), add temp penalty or lockout of boat when sunk(Suggestion by Atiye). Current penaltys leave much to be desired in continued ocean play, and sailors UI needs a major overhaul in general so that we can at least get back into the fight. Speaking of returning into the fight, temp penalties or ship lockouts should be a thing - similar to death cooldowns on land.

I'll update/edit this with others feed back when I can.

I would also like to see the gear caps adjusted so that boats can provide some damage output on the land fights. Currently, the gearscore requirement bars people in lifeskill gear from participating.

On the subject matter of sailors and seaboats: the penalty should be re-examined and lessened during War of the Roses. While some temporary penalty or lockout of boat should occur, it should not incur such a cost that forces players to spend more time addressing sailors than taking part in War of the Roses. If a player is sunk, they are forced to return to the wharf manager, comb through the UI and address each sailor in a singular fashion. This then means that the player spends more time dealing with their sailor situation than should be allowed for. With systems for workers allowing for the manual replenishment of ALL worker stamina, there should also be a system in place for sailors as well. While there should be some penalty incurred for being sunk during War of the Roses, the current system leaves much to be desired and has plenty of room for improvement to address these issues.
