Without doubt the worst event I've seen in my short time in BDO.  Massive nerf to daily income from afk fishing in event spots.

I'd love to know the thought process behind an event that offers less than a third of the rewards of normal gameplay while simultaneously blocking access to normal rewards.

This Event is the reason the fishing spot in Heidel shows "Average" instead of "Exhausted" for the first time!

Nope. All those fishing spots regenerate to abundant lvl during maintenance.

Everytime I started fishing in heidel after a maintenance it said "Exhausted"! This was mostly like 3-4 hours after the maintenance ended.
But last night i started fishing after 0:00 UTC and it said "Average" and when i stopped fishing this morning (like 8:00 UTC) it still said "Average"!

Velia and Heidel event fish spot goes from abundant to exhausted within 40-60 minutes (depending on how good the event is and how many anglers there are).

It's still average because level of decline is related to the number of catches.
Currently, it takes 11 minutes to bite with AFK fishing time reduced as much as possible in event fishing zone, so it is completely normal that fish depletion will never occur because the stock is replenished faster than fish are caught.

They don't reset to abundant. I thought they did as well but I've logged in right after maint and Velia be average or low at the start. THe new event def is terrible tho. Its like 18m an hour after just having ice fishing at 400m or other afk versions like koi or chad which you could do afk and make way more. Idk why they limited this one to such a measly amount and also screwed over anyone who fished at these spots on the reg with such a massive nerf to exp and money.

It's strange because they always reset (I can even look for my SS from other events to show you). Or at least the one in Heidel, because when there is a good event, I fish actively for the first hour and then move to another place.

I agree with you 100% that this is one of the worst events in the history of BDO. PA unnecessarily removed other fish and objects from the fishing zones and unnecessarily prolonged bite to as long as 11 minutes. Absurd time compared to about 90 sec of "ordinary" afk bite.

So zero yellow and blue fish for money from imperial and imperial tokens, zero relics and zero silver keys!!!

Event takes 11 minutes, 30 seconds to hook and catch a single AKF fish.

Outside the event, with pets and buffs I can hook and catch a fish in 1 minute 30 seconds, to 1 minute 40 seconds. 

Please have this "Event" make sense to me?

Since "Event" started, and a bit over 24 hours AFK Fishing here are my results:

I have caught 360, 500,000, Plump Coelacanth, at about the same rate without the event. No benefit there.

I have caught 51, 3,000,000 Plump Amberjacks (153,000,000) Those 51 are to make up for or replace and if its an "Event", one could reasonable expect augment the catch rate or silver oppertunity of the normal fishing spot.  Not here. There is NO associated BENEFIT!  Am I mising something? Please tell me the benefit.

During the same period - Non "Event", I can do DOUBLE that in silver catching Gold or Rare in Velia. Even factoring in I have to repair, sell to an Imperial Fish vendor and Trade the rest.  Even if I have to go for a ride to find a Imperial Fish vendor still buying I am way ahed og your little EVENT!

This is not an event its a bad nerf. If you simply wanted to end the 500,000, Plump Coelacanth, you should have done so. Forcing your fishing lifeskillers to give up on them and "If you need to catch specific fish to complete a quest or challenge, please move to a location other than the event fishing spots! is absurd.

Why not simply tell the Fishing Lifskillers that this evrnt is not for you! Tooth Fairy cabin here I come! Fix the EVENt or simply kill it. Whoops is it dead. The community is just notifying you of it. 

What PVP'er in the BDO camp came up with this trash event?  Nice work! Lifeskiller NERF. Fair enough. 

If it did not remain "ABUNDANT" the catch rate would go from 11-12 minutes over to double that. Wake up - Devs have it perminetley set to ABUNDANT to prevnt a full out riot!
