I propose making a new trading style. One where you perform town daily/weekly quests and are rewarded with trade items in your trade wagon. When you are finished in a town, you travel to a new town to finish the trade. Then begin the process again with the new town destination.

The suggestion is basically this:

Step 1:

Park your trade wagon in the town stables.

Step 2:

Walk the town, interacting with all the NPC's who give existing daily or weekly quests.

Step 3:

Complete the quests and receive the existing reward plus a trade item in your wagon that is automatically deposited upon quest completion.

Step 4:

Take your wagon out of the stables and travel to a new town. Upon arriving, sell all of your goods to the trade manager.

Step 5:

Repeat.

The reason for this suggestion is to make all of the obsolete, dull, boring, and seemingly useless quests that are scattered around find real meaning again. This will make the player explore the towns and cities, and breath new life into everything you touch. A large majority of the quests found in towns are not used by the playerbase whatsoever.

Price and rarity of the trade items is based on the difficulty of the quests, and also subject to RNG chance to get an item on a scale from a common potion to a rare treasure.

The quests can be of any type, as long as they are given by an NPC that belongs to that particular city or surrounding territory. Quests that include other lifeskills should be a focus here. Anyone who offers processing, gathering, training, fishing will yield better trade item rarity and numeration results. However, this does not exclude minigames, fetch quests, or subjugation quests.
