It's because this isn't really 'RNG'.  You have developer influence building an RNG system, and it's not truly random.  If they wanted to give us a fair RNG system, they would have built a system based off atmospheric noise, but it's designed for us to fail majority of the time.  Think of it as gambling.  The house is designed to win the extreme majority of the time.

When you gamble you assume you lost and be happy if you win, don't understand why people think any differently here. If you don't like the system then use the 100% chance to upgrade calling buying, the prices on the market are actually fairly accurate for the average cost to enhance.

I was replying to Vulpin's general take on no forgiveness on fails, I know you don't get fail stacks when you fail manos, because it's already at a decent set chance where you don't need to build stacks, 5% on normal accessories need 90 stacks, where manos you can just click it at 5%.

because it's a weighted random, it's not "pure" random, atmospheric noise is not "pure" random anyway, it's just random in the sense that I are missing information from the system that I are unable to collect yet

The only people I know who make statements like this are also the same people I know who are RNG carried and shit out PENs with 20 stacks. Last person that told me this was the same person who made bought 13 tri mano rings and smashed 9 of them to TET and only blew up 4. They than made 3 PEN mano gather outfits, than a PEN mano butcher knife, than a PEN BS, and than 2 PEN tree spirit armors and got a Flame of dispair after only 10 hours of grinding turos, and all within a 2 month period. The same user always says "Oh I fail all the time I properly blew up 30b in silver total sense I started playing this game." like lol only 30b.

An than you go into PVP with people that are RNG carried and they gear check you out of the arena cause lol balanced and fair game am I right? BDO is the only MMORPG were your actually punished for investing time and money into it.

Ah.. enhancement. To sum it up:

The ONLY items worth trying to enchant are TET -> PEN on BiS and maybe pre-BiS items. Reason being that:

1. It's almost impossible to outspend the item you try to make with the cost of enhancement. Say PEN blackstar is what, 70bil? You get the idea

2. It's almost impossible to buy it with silver anyways. So if you want it - there's just no other way but to go through enhancement.

So, just do this: if you don't have full TET on all items that you want to use - don't bother, just grind your silver and buy those TETs. Don't listen to the "one-tap success stories". For every one such story there are thousands of told and millions of untold failure stories.

If everyone followed your advice, everyone would FAIL.  There wouldn't be items on the market to purchase.

It happens.  Just the nature of gambling.  Manos acc. enhancing is pure RNG, pure gamble.  With other stuff, you can form somewhat of a strategy, look to streamers who specialize in enhancing, they have a pretty strict guideline they follow.  They never touch Manos accs, and there's a reason.  It's just a pure gamble.

Live and learn.  I've blasted through billions.  Worst one was trying to make a TET Distortion.  Ended up just buying them both.

Nope. Partially because enchanting isn't the only source of PRI..TET items, but mainly because I never said "everyone to follow my advise". In fact, I didn't tell anyone but OP to follow my advise.

Let those who want to trash billions do it. There are rich people who can afford it. But if someone is frustrated over losing 16bil - they clearly aren't rich and aren't ready for what enhancement is in this game.

Imagine how incredibly high your ignorance is that you dont even know that manos accesories have a fix % and are not affected by failstacks
