This amount of fails at those attempt levels is nothing extraordinary. Feel free to be supersitious and think this sample size validates the account based RNG seed theory, just keep in mind you're not the only one laughing.

Nah. You probably just don't understand how statistics and randomization work.

A truly random array has long series of patterns within it. The larger the array, the longer the patterns. Humans however tend to think that randomization means a maximum amount of entropy within the array, and minimal patterns. This is just something built into our brain.

Here's a cool excercise to do if you have some spare time. The first time a math professor had me do this opened my eyes to how randomization actually works.

1. Write down a series of 50 zeros and ones as randomly as you can.

2. Use a random number generator (excel works wonders here with =RANDBETWEEN(0;1) ) to generate a similar series of zeros and ones.

3. Compare the two series. Do you see the difference?

With a great likelihood, you will find at least one string of 5 or more zeros or ones in a row. You will also with a great likelihood find at least one string of 5 or more alternating zeros and ones (i.e. 01010 or 10101).

What you're experiencing now is one of those patterns.

Now, since the number of enhancements you're attempting in BDO can easily exceed 50, the likelihood of even longer patterns start to grow. Try using the random generator above and make a series 200 numbers long, then 500 numbers long.

Us humans are bad at true random generation. We tend to perceive those patterns as anomalities, while they are actually anything but. Especially in gambling, where you tend to spot failure patterns so much easier than you do success patterns.

And gambling is of course essentially what enhancing in BDO is, at the end of the day.

TL;DR: Failing 5+ times in a row with 50/50 chance is nothing special when you do 50 or more enchants with that chance.

I am very familiar with how weighted random works, and it still sucks.  Atmospheric random is as close to - what did you call it - 'pure' as you are going to get, even along with radioactive decay - but decay is just too slow, so it's not really used.  And I didn't say 'pure' randomness, I said 'true' random - there is a difference, but good try.  3/10 for you.

Atmo noise is MUCH better than any algorithmn based computer generated programs, you still have outside influence affecting the outcome and I am SURE that PA 'interferes' with this randomness in this game, as would any gambling entity.  It's no different - and like I said, the house wins the extreme majority of the time.  

Today I asked BDO if I should continue to play, invest a bit of money to buy some new outfit or something and settle down here a bit longer this time. It just said no to me. It said to me that I should take my money and leave, look what's actually hyped on Twitch and play it for a month at least (and use the money that I did not waste here to get premium-ed somewhere else). Then come back and celebrate the next celebration in BDO. They always celebrate while others destroy hundrets hours of work. Today BDO hates me and gives me penalty for getting too much chars with too much level-sum and to login longer than a month, or whatever... In a month BDO loves me to come back and throws tons on gifts on me. The RNG system in BDO is so heavily messed up that they are forced to fix it like they always did in the past. Gift TRI boss gear to everyone, multiple Capotia for everyone and so on. Human nature always thinks that they get a reward for working hard. It's not the case in RL and neither in BDO. BDO is a time trap. Be thankful and not angry if your eyes gets opened.

tl.dr: you have no clue about the subject.

There is many ways to implement an RNG engine.... though making true random with a software is rather difficult.

You may want to look up some Path of Exile 2 videos.  Amazing new content along with a major graphics overhaul.  A completely new campaign with new skills/sockets etc.  And it's not burdened with P2W advantages, scrolls, negative RNG.
