Honestly, I didn't expect many beings on these forums to understand. Dude wasn't there to grind as seen in the video, he was specifically there to ruin the game for someone who he knew wouldn't stand a chance putting up a fight. We call those types sadistical bullies. But, meh, whatever, it is what it is.

The behavior like displayed in that video, is why BDO's PvP scene will continue to cannibalize itself. All for the sake of a few IRL wealthy and or no-lifers to have fun fodderizing others into quiting. Anyways, enjoy your one-sided "PvP" fights. That experience utterly mentally exhausted me, to the point, I'm now questioning, my gaming decisions.

And how do you get into a guild that's doing such content? A pvp trial. Where you presumably will do whatever sparring is required and if you can hang then you're in. Or maybe they take you to a node war to try you out as a player.

So unless you have the gear to be competitive against whoever you face in that trial, its not happening, like you're not close to getting your foot in the door before individual skill is even on the table. Doesn't matter if the node war itself is capped. And if you're not there yet? You're facing a grindwall where you don't make impressive money yet because you're not in the right stat bracket, and also you get flagged by people that can kill you in one skill. I got two shot by someone just today while walking up to a rift boss. No reason, he left right after and we exchanged no words. I didn't even take out my weapon to fight back. He got no reward for killing me. And there was no reward for me fighting back. It was probably just fun for him to stomp someone he was much stronger than.

As long as what I'm describing exists in the game, the pvp in BDO is a joke and will always be a joke.

No one in high end pvp wants to go farm a lifeskill guild and stuck with them for 10 minutes. If I wanna do pve I will go to the tungrad ruins rather than doing guild league. Stop assuming based on your corrupted view

Thats the reason why OwPvP should have rules and penalties. On normaly builded game griefers like that should get lot of negative karma and suffer the concequencess. On other hand this is Arsha. Some of you said that this surver is only for PvP and people should go ther and kill each other. Then you complain been killed in Arsha. WTF. So since there is no PvP now in normal server are you and your beings gona complain about PvP in Arsha??????

Lets be honest here. It takes hardly any time at all to get your karma back. Its not a real penalty. If someone's much stronger than you, then they can just bully you with near impunity. Its not a good system because of how the game treats gear progression and the resulting power chasm between players.
