Crimson Desert is using a new and updated engine compared to BDO. I would assume thats why it is more easily able to include these features than a 10 year old game.

FSR is made in a way where if v1 works, v3 will {95% likely) work as well. So, it being an old engine is not an excuse.
The fact that there is {probably} only a single unpaid intern working on this game (which they keep on rotating every 3 months so that they don't have to employ/pay anyone) is why we're not getting any fundamental updates that have been asked for years now.
