Black Desert will begin in a moment.

Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

I got an idea that will essentially equal out all classes in PvE and make balancing them way easier. 

 

Essentialy make the monster damage passive we get class exclusive.  

 

Every class will have their own passive that differs in number of monster damage.

 

For example: 

 

Striker does 6k trash in sycraia

 

Musa does 5k trash in sycraia

 

All it would take to equalise the number of trash is tweaking the monster AP passive of Musa up to the point their trash per hour goes up to 6k.  Lets say Musa ends up at 40 monster ap Striker at 8. then we see that musa does 100 more trash than striker on average so we  -5 their passive next week etc untill all classes can pull trash of similar amounts.

 

This prevents pve buffs overlapping with pvp performance of classes like when awk kuno spin got extra hits and started oneshotting people in early 2020. 

 

Any feedback on how could that fail to work out?

Yes this is exactly what most people want :) not having to reroll or tag a class that makes 20% more silver per hour. And how does it have anything to do with class identity you still perform different combos different skills the damage is just equalised on pve units so everyone can make fair progression ? you must be trolling.  The example you gave makes absolutely no sense as the answer doesnt address the question ; )

I'm sorry to tell you, but in games like these balance don't sell. If the balance of progression is really getting on your nerves. Then BDO more than like is not the game for you. Time to find another game that suits your needs.

 

I've noticed from reading on the forums and talking to a lot of players in game. That most of them come to BDO because it's unbalanced.

it's cannot work for the simple reason that most people don't know who to play their classe...


And your system can be voluntarily manipulated.... by these noobs people...

Furthermore. Striker Succ is good only and only in grind. both awake and succ are medium-shit on all the other content of the game by design of the skill set.
A classe that have an advantage in grind is normal and totaly wanted.
this is one of the advantages that certain class should have. If you take this advantage away from Striker Succ. Nobody will plays striker anymore.

The same is happening to the ranger. they went from 50% of the population to less than 1%.

It is the opposite of a hypothetical *balancing*. Killing a class is definitely totally on the opposite of the *Mythical balancing* belief.

A good meta is when each class is the best on something. When there have a factual advantage and disadvantage. A Role.
Not all choices should be equal. Otherwise, they are no longer choices.

In my opinion no spec should be weak in 1v1 PvP. How else are specs suppored be make gains. When they are consistently being farmed by awesome 1v1 PvP specs. I'd be able to agree with your comment only if every spec was treated is a minimal 3 party loot spot. That way weak 1v1 specs can shine with group PvP play. Other than that, it's a complete no no in my book.

I agree, no class should be bad at PvE. However that doesnt eman everyone should be the same either, just that there should only be a 10% variance or so from best to worst.
