Suggestion/Comments: I am unsure of the reasoning behind halving the Total Activity points when leaving the guild. I would like there to be no penalty to activity points when leaving a guild. I feel that Total Activity points should be retained in order to emphasise your ability to contribute to a new guild - providing a visible demonstration of the work you put into a previous guild's activties. This may also remove some of the disincentive for jumping from a dead guild to a more active guild.
While I agree, it's way too late for me now. I've lost so many points over the 7,5 years I've played. Crazy enough most of the time because guilds were going to disband or leadership changed and not because I was otherwise going to leave :/ punished for other people's decisions.
I think the system now is there to prevent guild members move without penalty, but maybe it could be changed after the ending of the contract. For example past the expiration of your contract, you could leave the guild and lose only 10% of your points, while keeping the 50% penalty if the contract is ongoing.
