█ I am extremely disappointed in PA for not fixing the problem of essential materials in this game. Let me explain ->

█ Players need materials like hard's and sharp's, and things like memory fragments. When these materials are difficult to get, it makes sense to create an opportunity or incentive to go get them.

█ So naturally you would think that the game mangers would provide a way to incentivize players to go an get these materials where they occur in the game system. EG where you normally get them. For hard's and sharp's its gathering. For memory fragments its combinable scrolls items.

█ But instead of buffing the natural means on getting these materials, the PA team decides to just make an event and give them away for free.

█ This is beyond unacceptable. The experience in this game is being destroyed by cheap band-aid events like these. Anyone who engages in activities that concern the aforementioned materials gets shafted by the results. Gathering and lifeskilling see a marked decline and economic set-back each time PA releases an "event" like this.

█ Dear PA, please stop giving things away for free, you are destroying the game. Instead, buff gathering and buff scrolls. Give people a reason to go and DO THE THINGS provided in the world of BDO.

Yup, but nobody reads these forums, unfortunately. And their "events" are keeping executives happy as their are perceived as "novel content" even though they are just reskins of each other.

The saddest part is that most of these events should be default mechanics baked into the game, which would make that same content worthwhile doing, but as PA has proven over and over again, we are just screaming into the (Pearl) Abyss.
