AoS gear caps work because it's 3v3. That won't work in rbf. t2 gear caps are complete dog, too. I don't want more content that makes people tank more than a combo, bro. Nobody should want that. Everything else besides the gear points are good. RBF should be good money and we desperately need more maps.

Uncapped RBF is one of the few things PvP wise that's uncapped. People that have grinded long and hard for their gear will be left with nothing except Siege or tier 5 node wars. Open world GvGs are dead after the guild Dec changes and guild league is still unbalanced. They shouldn't do away with uncapped rbf but maybe add in a capped one. If you wanna get into PvP with capped gear then do practice AoS.
3v3 with long respawn times on elimination isn't the most useful way to just learn the basics of group pvp in a casual setting.
With an AoS gear system you can trial classes in an RBF playlist and feel out whatever class you want to try to learn.
People should have a mode that is low investment and easy to que for to throw themselves at and learn whatever class they want to try out. Capped NW's definitely don't qualify and Solare matchmaking is far from ideal.
RBF on trials has sporadic windows of usefulness for this before quickly becoming irrelevant. A dedicated game mode would be useful forever.

We had this in the past, no one used it. Mac, you were around then when this was a thing so you can't plead ignorance to this. No one played the capped.

The caps back then were implemented like garbage as anyone who played back then would remember.
If you could read the entire post, it's suggesting using something like AoS gearing system (which is already developed and in the game) to create a flexible cap.

That didn't have a dedicated gear set so stop being dishonest lol. Nobody used it bc it was convoluted as hell

We honestly need more ways to make people want to continue in pvp and gear up to better gear. I think these is a great way to do that!

I agree 100%, this game is well known for it's amazing combat but loses players due to repetitive grinding which dulls the game and creates unfavorable PvP situations.
There are many opportunities to implement a PvP Vendor "outside" of RBF where losses and wins give out a coin that over time can be traded for gear, crystals, elixirs, perfumes, on top of silver which can propel a player to a mimimum 700gs.
