One of the issues that has been apparent in BDO since its Western release is the problem of ill-fitting or confusing translations. Sometimes, these can simply be comical and the "real" message is fairly easy to understand. At others, it is simply poor grammar or word choice that makes many people do that "doulbe-take" at what they are reading on screen. Finally, there are the times where the translation is just confusing, giving you a very poor idea as to what has either happened or what you need to accomplish. Sadly, a number of these are on the main story quest which add to the feeling of poor narrative design.
I would like to suggest a way for players to highlight these specific examples to the devs with suggested replacements. Make a template of either the forums or a ticket type system where we can take a screenshot of the problematic text. Alongside that, an area for highlighting what the problem is with the text as well as a third area for suggesting what should be changed.Over time, a majority consensus should appear which would allow the devs to make changes to improve the translations in-game. This new feedback feature could possibly be run alongside the new player-feedback meetings (which as I understand it are a similar idea to the CSM's of EVE Online) whereby the text changes to be implemented can be run past this trusted player-group for a final OK before going live.
I understand that this isn't a priority for everyone and that not everyone cares. To them, I would say that this would not impact you in the slightest and you can ignore this if it was ever implemented. To those who enjoy lore or want to assist in improving the localization of the game, it would give an easy way to suggest feedback/improvements.
For the dev team, this idea would take minimal time and resources to implement as all you are doing is creating one additional ticket template. The benefits for you are that the information would be consolidated in one place, that it is a fairly passive way of you collating information. The improvements to quest text are being suggested/done for you without you needing to employ additional staff/translators. Finally, it also allows another way for you to engage with your player teams to finalise text choices suggested by their fellow players.
Thank you for reading and look forward to hearing your opinions / feedback.
