View Storage History needed a bit more thought/testing before release.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for adding features to help players and such, but this new View Storage History needed a bit more polish before a general release.

I am going to assume the point of a storage history was to allow players a way to look over what they used or help them find out where things are going.   I think two things have kinda been overlooked which cause that funtionality  to be 100% useless for a lot of people.

1)  The biggie:    Rather then just list all the time the PLAYER enters or removes stuff into the storage as stated, it also makes a separate line for everything  your WORKERS ON WORKSHOPS also add or remove.  The thing is, workers and worker empires exist in this game.  Players can have dozens, if not 100+ workshops taking stuff out every 5-10min.    Even with a 500 line history, your average player with an average amount of workshops being used is only going to be able to look back a couple hours of activity and generally won't care or find it useful that he can see that each worker that player specifically told to make something took out that thing and made a new line in the history for every single input for the worker's job repeatedly several times an hour.

As a fun, extreme example I've attached a picture of my storage history.  I'm a big trade/junk-crate guy with 165+ workshops going.   If i wanted to see my history, i'd get to look back the whole 8 to 11 minutes before i get to the point everything has scrolled off.

.

.

Not that it would help because of #2

.

2) Every time a line gets added, the window forcibly spends a few seconds animated-scrolling back up to the top of the list.   If you are affected by #1, it doesn't matter if you want to search through your history because in a couple seconds it's going to kick you back to the last 10 items. Making the bottom 490 lines pointless unless you want to stop all your workshops so you can look at the history.

.

So Suggestions:

1) Presumably the history was only ment for player additions/withdrawls as stated.  Fix that bug or at the very least give us something to check (That also remembers the check on relog or channel change) to ignore worker's activity.  Otherwise the feature might a well not have been added. There is no point in checkign a history that only goes back a few minutes to an hour.

2)  Regardless of #1, the forced autoscroll to the top needs to be removed.   You should never be forcing the UI to reset automatically when that very same element of the UI is in use by the user.

Based on how they implementing stuff I could believe that a guy that implemented this history don't even know that something like "workers" exist in this game

Currently the only problem I have with it is that it shows in that log everytime I process directly from storage by using Karki suit.

It makes no sense to keep that log.
