I do not know what change or what files did they pick at in the last 2 months update, but my FPS dropped from a stable 60 FPS to 40's and 30's at all times.

Figured I'd switch from Remastered and highest settings on 4K monitor, to the lowest settings available.... the FPS stayed the exact same! (Even after relaunching the game)

I do not know what went wrong, it's as if the game is not using the GPU at all... hell, any potato PC can get more than 40 FPS on the lowest non-remastered settings. I tried several fixes and Nvidia app changes but nothing helped and I'm getting frustrated.

Windows:  10

GPU:   RTX 3080 Ti

CPU:   Ryzen 9 5950X

RAM:   32GB DDR4

Motherboard:   Prime X570-P

 Lowest settings

 Highest settings

If anyone has any clue as to what might be going on here, I'd appreciate the input. Thanks~

Update for anyone interested:

The culprit here was the Antivirus Avast One, which I installed 2 months ago... around the time BDO FPS issues started.

I uninstalled it, went back to Windows protection, restarted the PC and voila... my FPS is back to normal and GPU is used all the way.

Hope it helps anyone.

Always play at High Teextures regarless if you want Low/Optimal or Remastered, using low/medium Textures uses more resources.
