Black Desert will begin in a moment.

Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

Install the Black Desert Launcher to start the game.

The launcher will appear if it's installed.
If it doesn't, try to run your downloaded launcher.

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

2 Start the game once installation is complete.

Better character moving/walking/turning/stopping animations, especially with controller

Suggestions/Comments: Please consider implementing smoother, more fluid animations when moving, turning with the character, including walking animations.

Many games JPRG especially (Tower of Fantasy, Phantasy Star Online 2, Star Rail etc.) have very smooth, fluid animations when moving character, walking, turning, running, stopping. Especially when playing with controller though m+k as well. It makes for a far better looking, feeling more polished experience. Characters feel alive despite far weaker graphics than BDO. PSO2 is on next level all together, where animations including idles are equippable as part of "costume".

Seems quite an easy thing to add, while it will modernize BDO "feel" to be on par with newer games.

They removed that a couple of years ago.  With all the fast travel and teleports and requests for more of the same, walking/running could eventually become obsolete.

Only half kidding.

Meanwhile, having a continuum of movement rather than discrete states would be very nice indeed.

I agree. thats actually gonna improve roleplaying so much in this game and as you said characters are gonna feel more real. same as other outdated animations in this game like mounts or maybe add some more emotes? I'll appreciate them all. =))

Indeed, the character controls in this game feel really bad sometimes, especially when swimming or running fast, it feels like controling a boat with it's long turns rathera humanoid with responsive and agile controls.
