Crops should continue to grow when offline

As title...

The benefit of playing, or staying logged in, many hours a day should be that you can harvest multiple times per day. But those days you can log in for a few minutes only, you should be able to collect at least once. The growth should not pause when you are not logged in...

It's funny how every aspect of the game that rewards you, like crops growth or nodes collecting, just pause when you are offline and every aspects that gives you penalities, like pets hunger or fish degradation, does not..

All of the "AFK" activities should continue while offline.  You shouldn't need to be logged in to AFK fish, you shouldn't need to be logged in to use a training dummy, or train your horse.  You shouldn't need to be logged in for your workers to start a new task.  With workers they just shouldn't be fed while offline, but they should continue to do new tasks until they run out of the energy they had when you were last online.

Probably never going to happen and thats not a bad thing.  Yea, you can argue that 'maybe this part' shoud work offline or whatever, but having stuff unessesarily work offline is just asking for it to be exploited.

The thing is, if stuff worked while offline, you'd jsut have people making dozens of quick accounts to accumulate wealth/silver/materials with no effort then they'd transfer that wealth to their main account either by selling bulk, cheap stuff for their main to buy to by using the silver those extra accounts accumulate to buy worthless items from the main account.    Even if only a fraction of that transfer is effective because of how the central market works, it's still a lot of zero-effort silver that main account shouldn't have had.

That's to say nothing about how bad the in-game economy and the servers in general would suffer as they tried to keep up with the materials and server load of theoretically millions of ghost accounts.

At least having the online requirement generally limits people to a single account per computer they own.

Agree.

Add a limit to 8h or 12h like every mobile game has. But they will never do this, since PA wants to boost their numbers

With taxes on the CM and no player to player direct trading, every one of your excuses are actually invalid.
