Before we start...

"Tournaments were the favorite pastime of the medieval nobility, allowing them to keep their military skills sharp. They enjoyed participating in tournaments almost as much as they loved hunting, another favorite activity."

First, of all sorry for any grammatical mistakes, secondly, the idea is not ready, I just wanted to write down my thoughts.

I know. It would be a big update/feature, but it just came to my mind that, jousting would be really fit into bdo's atmosphere.

The horse system is just amaizing and full of details (some of them are annoying, but this suggestion is not about that) and the devs could be build on it.
I have few ideas about that.

So, there are plenty of minigames in bdo, I think this is an essential element of the game and the tournament would be like that, just a bit more complicated in the view of balance.

Few words about the details...

Anyone with a suitable horse and jouring gear can take part in the tournament, after lvl 56.

The tournament has straight dropout system. The higher you get, the bigger the reward.

Player's gear:

weapon:

-Lance/spear

armor:

-The current armor system would be great (well, if the developers decide to put this idea into the game, they will decide the details anyway, so I won't describe my thoughts)

Horse gear:

-The current horse gear system would be good, if some changes have been made.

Another thing

It would be cool if players can participate as spectators

And...

Feel free to add your ideas and thoughts, I just described a few things that suddenly came to my mind.
Also, describe if the idea has no raison d’être.

I like that idea. Tournaments in medieval tv-shows/movies were always nice to watch. Could even maybe add some special war horses for this like they did with horse racing and race horses

When I think about it, we could certainly use more competitive content that is not combat PVP or Icon Rank based in this game. 

The foot in the door was the horse racing, and it caught on big so far.
